Wow, we’re not vegan but we loved Elelem Etterem just for GF and healthy food - we stopped by almost daily during our two weeks in Budapest to grab fresh pitas to eat with our own market sausages and cheese, or peanut butter cookies, or chocolate orange cake mmmmm. The staff are lovely, and they make their GF pita with their own yeasted dough so it has a wonderful complex flavor. We didn’t even get around to trying the pizzas but enjoyed bowls and even the vegan burger despite being meat eaters. Highly recommended for healthy eats and tasty GF desserts.

100% gluten free and vegan. I had a bean version of the local gulash with homemade bread which was delicious and a generous serve. The menu also had salads, bowls, pizza, smoothies, slices etc

This place is vegan, which is not my thing, but I got the mushroom pizza and the crust was excellent. They have a wide variety of vegan burgers made from mushrooms, brown rice, etc. Maybe next time.
