When my boyfriend picked this restaurant for date night, I assumed I wouldn’t be able to eat much given the name of the place. I was so pleasantly surprised with all the options. I started asking questions about an item and the waiter promptly brought me an entire GF menu with so many options! He was so patient and answered all my questions. The meal was incredible! We got appetizers, main courses, and even dessert. I always ask my bf to try my GF food to see if he could tell it was GF. He couldn’t tell and actually liked some of my dishes as much or more than his. I’m so happy places like this are in our BR community. Can’t wait to go back!

This place truly makes me smile! We were driving through Baton Rouge from first time in our lives and found this based on other reviews. Well this place is known for their pies and they don't have any gluten free, the meal we have was so delicious and feeling we didn't have room anyway! We tried boudin cakes which come with the Bedford sauce, and aioli cream sauce and as you can see, so delicious with the sausage and green onions over the extremely well seasoned rise. Then we both had a side salad that comes with the red pepper jelly dressing and it too is lip smacking good.
My entree was the crab pie with pork skin since I'd never tried them before and the Arlington sauce.
My non-GF partner had Natchitoches meat hand pies with Bedford sauce. I had the crab pie (it doesn't have a crust, but is cheesy and tomatoes in top )with pork skins as a side since I've never eaten that before. Our great waiter brought me both Bedford and the Arlington sauces, the latter which has a kick to it.
Only flub turned out good. For dessert our waiter said I could have the coconut pie filling with the whipped topping.(the our without the gray before it's made) looked delicious. Then a woman, I'm guessing the manager, came over to inform me I couldn't have it as they use a very small amount of flour in it to stiffen it. So I suggested they consider cornstarch or other ingredients. So perhaps by the time you come they'll have an option for dessert!
There was Pop Rouge float could be your dessert as it's ice cream with Barq's red cream soda . Didn't try it as we wanted dessert to go for tonight.
So if you're here, I highly recommend you make the effort to try their food.

This is such a pretty restaurant. They have a gluten free menu with a pretty good selection. I had the hummus with these puffy deep fried rice crackers. Very good. Definitely hit the spot for something greasy and flavorful. I’m super sensitive and had no reaction.

Terrific restaurant! We all enjoyed our meals (GF & not GF). The waitress was knowledgeable and confident about the GF options on the menu. 10 out of 10!

It’s always great when the waitstaff is knowledgeable and they have an actual gluten free menu.
Just a heads up they don’t have gf bread, do not put the sandwiches on lettuce or anything and you need to order the fries separately.

The gluten free options are delicious! Great variety.
