Excellent and affordable GF fish and chips. We love the catfish in particular. The fries are really good too.

Delicious fish and chips made using gf batter. I stayed away from this place for years because they did not have a dedicated fryer. However, they now have a dedicated fryer for the fish and chips. Stay away from the crab puppies, those are not gf.

The staff are amazing!!!! We ordered a sampler platter & they made sure to put the two items not gf out in a separate boat! They also brought a sample of the soup (not gf) for my partner! No reaction & super tasty! The tartar sauce was our favorite part - nice kick to original tartar! One thing to note is this is not a sit in restaurant; there are four barstools against the window & two picnic tables outside.

Workers there were knowledgable and friendly. All fish and chips were gluten free and prepared carefully to avoid cross-contamination. Some of the best fish and chips I've had in a minute!
Business owners reportedly keep all tips paid through credit card, though (what the heck??), so bring cash to tip the people doing the actual work.

BEST fish & chips I’ve ever had, gluten or not. As other reviews said, it’s not marked anywhere but on their website, but when I asked about the batter, the chef lit up and was happy to talk about his recipe. I got the prawns and chips, and my non-GF partner got chicken and chips. We agreed that this breading is AMAZING, and the fries are very well seasoned. Absolutely coming back soon!

Great food, fun location and wonderful service. Everything on the menu is gluten free. It's just not advertised. I had the two piece cod and fries and my friend had the two piece catfish and both tasted great. Highly recommend.

There isn’t a gluten free menu, but all their fish and chips are gluten free, I had never had a reaction there, and the staff is knowledgeable on what items are gluten free and their main batter for fish is GF. The staff are friendly, the prices are good, the restaurant is small but clean and nice, and the fish and chips are great.

The food was super good and I didn’t get sick at all! All the fish and chips were safe. I got the Alaskan cod and fries. It came with coleslaw and a homemade sauce. The fish was super good. Not too much breading and the homemade sauce with it tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions. We will definitely go back when we’re ever in that area again.

INCREDIBLE food and excellent prices. I’m new to the area and was encouraged to find good gluten free fish and chips with many choices. There is not a GF menu, however the staff is knowledgeable on what items are gluten free and their main batter for fish is GF. Their website online says that all fish and chips are GF.

Best gluten free fish and chips. Batter is light and fish is moist and flavorful. I love it!

I found out about this establishment through Find Me GF when I was diagnosed with celiac disease last summer, and have probably eaten here a dozen times since. I've never personally had an adverse reaction to any of the food here (I've had every variant of fish and chips on the menu, and they are all delicious) but staff has confirmed that the hush puppies are not GF and that they don't use separate fryers. I was not actually aware that they even offered hush puppies until very recently, because I'd never seen them listed on the restaurant's physical menu board. I only noticed them on the restaurant's online menu after COVID became widespread & calling in takeout became the new standard. I'm generally not much of a risk-taker when it comes to dining out, but I had tried this place based on earlier reviews, which were overwhelmingly positive. There are known risks to eating here if you have celiac disease, so I'd definitely encourage you to use discretion. I haven't felt unwell after eating here in the past, but I would hesitate to dine here again knowing what I know now. It's deeply regrettable and frustrating, because their food is excellent and *almost* celiac-safe. Ghostfish Brewing Company is a very good alternative for GF fish and chips, if cross-contamination is a concern for you.

Not sure why any celiac would trust this place. I decided to stop in because of the rave reviews here. There are several gluten containing items on the menu including crab puppies. They are fried in the same fryer as the fish, according to the cashier I spoke to. He said they are “gluten free for the most part.” If you have celiac that’s a hard pass. Disappointed.

The staff was knowledgeable and the fish ‘n chips was the perfect meal!!
Excellent gluten free fish and chips and chicken and chips. Very tasty and they even have spicy tartar sauce for a change.
Now that I live not even 2 miles from it, I go almost every week. I haven’t had chicken strips or fish and chips this good in forever! Highly recommend. The staff is great as well.
Yes
Staff was super friendly, service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I just didn’t like the Halibut n Chips. Halibut seemed overcooked and the tarter sauce wasn’t regular sauce. It had the same seasoning or something that the fish and the chips had on it. It was just too much of one particular seasoning and I might have liked it more if I got a break by tasting something that didn’t have it. I wanted to like this, the location is very convenient to the VA Hospital and we are there at least once a month. I may give them a try again, and try something else on the menu. I will update if I do. Like I said, the service was great and that’s worth trying again!
The fish and sweet potato fries were amazing! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Small hole in the wall, but totally worth it!

We travel 85 miles for these fish and chips! They are delicious and I have never had a reaction! All their fish is gf!
Stopped by this restaurant because of all the great reviews. This is a family establishment and the food is fantastic! I had the fish and chips. Everything but the soups are GF and the fryer is a dedicated one. I will be going back to this place! Highly recommend.

My husband and I are always looking for gluten free fish and chips and this place did NOT disappoint! There was absolutely ZERO grease and everything was fresh, light and so incredibly tasty. I wish we had one by our house!
Tasty, inexpensive, good grab and go option when you want deep fried food. Friendly folks.

Not a huge seafood fan but thought the fish and chips were pretty good. The corn meal breading was really cool and unique.

G.F. Fish and chips? Yes! It isn't the typical NW beer batter. It is a corn meal batter so the fish isn't as greasy. Great flavor and wonderful customer service, worth a stop.
Got so sick from fish and chips I had to go to the hospital. Not safe for celiacs. Must have been cross contaminated oil.
No
Be careful. Chicken strips are not gluten free. We called in because I got sick, and the owner was nice but seemed to have not known this fact until researching ingredients further.
Great fish and chips! Celiac friendly and delicious.
Delicious fish and chips. THE BEST I've eaten gf or not. My family was vacationing in Seattle (2 of us sensitive Celiacs). We decided to take a chance based off the excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. Separate fryers for the fish and fries. They use Bob's Red Mill cornmeal for breading. Everything was seasoned so well. It was the best meal we had the whole trip, and no one got sick.
I was hungry, traveling, and staying in a strange neighborhood. I saw and dismissed the fish & chips shop on the corner as impossible until my trusty FMGF app told me it was not just possible but a darn fine reality. I let it sink in a moment and headed on over. What a treat!!! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and my order of halibut & chips was perfectly cooked - crispy and delicious. Not even a hint of a reaction. Brilliant.

This place is amazing! The fish was perfect and the fries were out of this world. The owner was super nice and very chatty, a super delightful guy. But the best thing? I absolutely didn't get sick. I will for sure go back.

Like previous reviewer said, little gem of a find. GF fish & chips are hard to find and these were great. Most items are GF and they're careful about cross-contamination. Owner is a delightful person and took care of our meal and made sure we're satisfied!!
This place is a hidden gem! So good and no reaction post feasting on delicious fried cod and prawns, fries and coleslaw. They need to update their website so it reflects that their batter and thus everything fried is Gf. Only thing not GF is the bread for their sandwiches. Check this place out!!!
These guys are wonderful, and very friendly. They use corn flour for thier batter, and mostly GF ingredients for thier whole menu (minus hoagie rolls). The fries are perfect. As far as I know, (I've asked them), they ONLY use GF ingredients for the fryers...I always feel a bit strange after eating there, although it's totally delicious and I'm guessing it's only because it's deep fried. I've had several other GF friends try it out, with no complaints from anyone. Fish n chip options, chicken strips, fries.
