Celiac.
They have a dedicated GF section but do state it is not cooked in a dedicated space. Got sick.
Also the food was mediocre. Even the other people I was with agreed.

I got deathly sick from eating here. I’m not celiac but I am gluten intolerant. I ordered plain penne with tomato sauce and asked for the GF meatballs which they were out of. The waiter asked me something but I couldn’t understand him and nodded. Then I had a bad feeling so asked him to repeat what he said and he asked if I wanted regular meatballs since they were out. That’s the moment I knew they had no clue how important gf food is to people with a health issue. On top of losing my trust in this restaurant, the food didn’t even taste good. Even my non gf family didn’t finish their food. Not worth the expensive prices. All around a big fat no for me!

I've only been once, but no problems. Food was good and seasoned well.
This was a really disappointing experience. My sons gluten free meal had to be sent back twice. They don't seem to get it. The waitress had no clue what gluten was or wasn't. One of the worst experiences ever. I will never be back.
Enrigo is an authentic Italian restaurant, owned and staffed by Italians. The awareness of celiac is much higher in Italy. The staff are aware of the issues and point out GF options. The kitchen cooks the GF pasta in a fresh, clean pot. The GF pasta is among the best I have had and is made at the restaurant. They usually have a few non pastry GF desserts too. I have never had a bad reaction after eating there. I will stress that it is important to tell the staff if you have celiac and to ask lots of questions, as I have learned over the years, trust but verify!
