Waitress stated they are able to accommodate gluten-free. I asked if chips on table were fried in a dedicated fryer. She seemed confused by this. While they might be GF, I’m not certain whether other gluten foods are fried in the same fryer or not. It was hard to get an answer from the server. She suggested the enchiladas, stating they were GF. I asked if the Mexican rice was GF. The manager came to the table and said she wasn’t really certain what gluten was. I asked what the ingredients were. It has chicken bullion in it. It’s likely not gluten free. If I wasn’t on a time limit, I would have explained that gluten comes from wheat, rye, and barley. And that ingredients alone aren’t enough for it to be gluten free! Perhaps I’ll have better luck next time. (Just stopped in for a quick lunch)
We were told by a manager before seating that there was nothing safe for my husband to eat here.
No
I have Celiac and can eat the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas without issue. And I’m usually pretty sensitive to gluten.
