Epic Chophouse

Frequent flyer at this establishment and have not ever had a cross contamination issue. The menu is limited for celiac, but the staff is always knowledgeable and accommodating. They sometimes have gluten free dessert too, which is a real treat.

I went to Epic Chophouse in Mooresville because I saw a bunch of items marked gluten free on the online menu that I was excited for, including pasta and truffle fries. The physical restaurant menu showed that zero of the pasta dishes were gluten free. Additionally, I was going to order the truffle fries because it is rare to find a restaurant with safe fried food. I asked my server in order to confirm that the frier was gluten-free, and I was informed that it is not and the same frier is used for everything. In my opinion, their french fries should not be marked gluten-free due to the cross contamination. I got the salmon with a baked potato, both were marked gluten-free, and I had a terrible reaction. I personally do not recommend and will not be returning to Epic Chophouse.

Very Happy with our meal here at Epic. We had a wonderful meal while my family was in visiting. I am Celiac and very sensitive, I notified my server who assured me he would make sure my meal was safe. I had a petite filet oscar style with Yukon gold mash potatoes and the glazed mushrooms on the side. It was my birthday so I didn't hold back. I left a very happy customer the food was excellent and did not have amy issues, my family was impressed with their meals. We will be back!

Ordered and specified celiac disease and became sick within 20 minutes of ingestion. Would not return and not safe for someone with Celiac disease. Cross contamination likely the issue!

I frequently come to Epic & it’s always a wonderful experience. The staff is very knowledgeable about allergies, celiac and cross contamination. This is a high end steak house, the food was out of this world, with many options!
