This is disappointing to write. I’ve been here dozens of times and always felt safe. But on my visit 2 nights ago, I ordered as usual, mentioning Celiac and watched as the waitress confidently added it to the ticket.
5 minutes later, she comes out with the manager and says “Ok, Celiac, that’s the one with garlic and onions right?” Umm…no. I say it’s gluten and they say oh ok! And leave. Now I’m worried, this has never happened before.
My salad arrives and waitress says “I put the dressing on the side just in case. But I know it’s dairy free”. Huh?? I clarify again and she goes back to kitchen, then returns to say it’s gluten free. Again, this has NEVER been my experience. They’re always pros who understand Celiac fully.
I ate the meal, thinking the chef at least must still know what’s going on. And then I spent the night in the bathroom in agony. So I’m not sure if they have new management or a new chef or what. But proceed with caution, going forward.
