Review of Escaramuza

I called ahead and at first was a bit anxious because the lady who answered was not familiar with celiac, and I had to repeat my request, but she wasn't the manager. I asked for the manager and he understood my request and they get frequent requests like mine. So, here's the deal. They don't have a gf menu, but they can make anything prepared properly.

Their chips and salsa and queso are gf, and the even prepared fresh white corn tortillas for my daughter (the celiac) which of course, are gf. (By the way, their was a charge for chips and salsa, not a big deal, but in Texas I don't think I've ever paid for chips and salsa! 😃)

My celiac daughter got enchiladas ranchera and loved it!!! Everything was very good. It was decently priced and everything tasted fresh.

We have a 7 person family and they accommodated our party with smiles. The food was a bit slow coming out, because they were probably waiting on dishes to finish so they could serve us all at once.

Perfect place to visit if you are in the area or traveling!
