Very friendly but don’t think they understood cross contamination. Pretty sure I got sick after eating there, even when avoiding fried things. Big puffy stomach and acid reflux. Also soooooo expensive imo.

Asymptomatic Celiac

Overall Rating

Review

Ate here recently and they claim to fry the chips and hard tacos in a dedicated fryer. We were very clear about my son's Celiac and they assured us the fryer was separate.

The soft tacos are made of corn tortillas but they are heated on the same griddle as they warm the burritos. So unusual to be able to eat the fried crunchy tacos but not the soft tacos. It's usually the other way around! I imagine they could wipe down the griddle if asked to lower the cross contamination risk but we didn't ask. It's worth probing because they have a bigger selection of soft tacos. There are other friendly choices here like grilled corn, rice and beans.

The food is quality and the vibe is casual and friendly with style. My son is fairly asymptotic so it's hard to gauge any potential cross contamination but they at least said all the right things and he didn't have a reaction.

If you have celiac don't eat here. The first time I didn't get sick, but I've been sick a bunch of times after. They told me they had a dedicated corn fryer then I got sick and found out they fry flour churro's in the corn fryer. I tried ordering stuff they assured me was GFree. I'm terribly sick again!
