My son and I have Celiacs and have let the waiter know as well as the host. My husband is not GF therefore orders regular. There menu shows items that are GF. We ordered GF French onion soups, sweet cheese with GF bread, GF cheese curds, GF grilled chicken and fries (son), GF steak frites (myself), burger (husband). Halfway through the soup and sweet cheese bread the waiter came by and asked if we wanted those GF instead?!? Umm I have stressed that it needed to be GF!! We immediately stopped eating. Waited 30 minutes to get the correct food. There was a shift change and we had a new waiter, and wanted to make sure the food coming was GF for two of us and not my husbands food. The menu is incorrect, it’s says that the item is GF and not that there is a GF option. Regardless I still mentioned many times our two out of three meals must be gluten free. She checked and made sure it was GF. I couldn’t eat my food as the steak frites sauce was burnt and bitter. The waiter said it looks like the bottom of the barrel as it’s never that dark. She gave my husband his burger but made it GF (even though his wasn’t supposed to be). The fries were horrible. We were forced to pay for the whole bill even though we couldn’t eat half of the food. The appetizers were off of the happy hour menu and they wouldn’t honor the price as that’s what they’re hand held pulled up. We had to pay for the non GF food that they took back as well as charging extra for my husbands bun even though he didn’t want GF. This was an awful experience and will never go back!! They filled the water cups of the other tables but never came to ours. We had to ask for water and still wait 20 minutes. We didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before we were looking for bathrooms. Also, we did not have a reservation but it was after lunch time and all of the tables were empty. We requested a booth for my 5 year old and the host seemed disgusted and said they were reserved. We were there for an hour and a half and only two other tables filled but the booths remained empty the whole time.
