LOVE THIS PLACE!! I discovered it on a business trip and always have to stop when I am in the back.
They are familiar with celiac and will change gloves and have a SEPARATE toaster and prep station. The cinnamon buns are Delish but my favorite has to be the black and white cookies! (Boy did I miss these) they’re just like the ones i used to have as a kid! They also offer cakes and such for parties and are super safe!

Today I got hamantaschen and Florentine lace cookies. Along with $157 worth of other things! Including Irish soda, bread! They even hand wrapped each item because they knew I would freeze them, I cannot say enough about this treasure!

I have been coming here for years and I have tried every GF item from the GF bagels, GF French toast, GF cakes and pastries and GF bread and cookies! They are superior to other places and I have never gotten sick! The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and always answers all of my questions! A must go to!

Not good for celiacs.
BE VERY AWARE OF CROSS CONTAMINATION. They sell regular food and gluten free in the same facility. The worker touched gluten foods, then gluten free foods without washing his hands or changing gloves.
We used to come here frequently to purchase GF bagels & treats. When we pulled up, we saw the “WHOS Gluten free” sign was missing from the front of the building and a customer said Everything Bagels & Who’s gluten free are no longer partners.
I asked the Everything Bagel owner about it and he confirmed they now make their own gluten free bagels in house and they use a different recipes & flours. You can tell the difference. We feel the quality has been affected adversely.
We used to come to this store when the Whos Gluten Free products were made in house. The Whos Gluten Free products were so fresh and high quality. The Everything Bagel new bagels & baked goods were dry and stale - some were even inedible.
They have 3 large displays of GF treats. Alot of variety, but be aware that SOME of these items are not fresh. I am not sure if they are selling that fast, so maybe the baked goods are sitting to long? We bought some of the pastries and not only were they VERY expensive ($7- $10 per Pastry), but most of the items we bough were stale (we found out when we came home after a 40 minute drive).
** Be aware if they offer to heat your food up, it might mean that the food is not fresh and they will warm it so it seems fresh. The owner tried this on us.
When we got home, we all tried the Linzer tarts that tasted like cardboard and the inside had hard preserves. The cannolis had mold on them and the Napoleons tasted off. Some cookies tasted fresh, while others were hard like rocks. Inedible. We will never buy from Everything Bagel again.
BE VERY AWARE OF CROSS CONTAMINATION.
Also - be careful of the prices they charge on you order. This place is not only expensive but they overcharged us. Be careful that you are not overcharged, especially might if you don't pay attention. We were very disappointed.

I am in total shock that you feel this why
SINCE 95 percent of our customers prefer the new bagels and new baked goods
I appreciate your feedback and will make adjustments internally to correct the issues you noted. I would like to make it up to you and treat you if you are willing to give it another try
Just call and let me know so I can personally assist you

My celiac partner and I had a unique and wonderful experience here. These are the best bagels we’ve ever had… they were made fresh daily. First, we ordered bagels and ate it in- house, my celiac partner got an everything with lax and cream cheese, and I got a plain with cream cheese. The bagels we could have chosen from were plain, sesame, and everything. Next, we ordered lots of pastries for us and family. We were able to choose from traditional pastries, to sugar cookies and loafs. My celiac partner wanted a muffin, and we were given the option for vegan muffins or regular. Like the bagels, the pastries were astonishing. We were afraid to eat them because they just tasted too good to be gluten free… but we felt perfectly good afterwards and still do! The employee there also said they make donuts on the weekends, so I’m hoping to catch them next time I come by.

The Paramus location is amazing! They offer so many gluten free baked goodies including donuts and eclairs! Staff is extremely knowledgae and take cross contamination very seriously. You do need to specify if you have celiac/allergy when ordering bagels to make sure they use the dedicated kitchen space and appliances for prepping. I’m a very sensitive celiac and have never gotten sick here. Elliot is wonderful!

I found out I have celiac 20 years ago and haven’t had fresh soft pretzels, funnel cake, zeppoles, ice cream cookie sandwiches, etc. since then (unless I made it myself) until last weekend, thanks to Everything Bagel. Everything tasted incredible - I had to even try to keep it away from the rest of my family, who all can eat gluten. Such a treat! And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg - they have so many incredible goodies such as bagels, various cookies, donuts, pastries, and cakes. I’ve been coming to this location for over a year now and I couldn’t be more grateful or excited to have such a variety of delicious gluten free treats. You feel like a regular person again here - walking into a store and being able to order almost anything you want. If you’re gluten free, you absolutely need to try this place.

This place is awesome! More gluten free choices than I have seen before. The egg sandwich on a plain gluten free bagel was delicious. First time in five years I have been able to enjoy this breakfast staple
Even though the name “Who’s” is no longer associated with Everything Bagel in Paramus, Everything Bagel still has almost all of the same things as before, including the new and significantly improved bagel recipe (they’re soft and fluffy and don’t get rock solid within 6 hours of purchase), babka, jelly donuts, cinnamon twists, soft pretzels, and so much more. All of the cookies, cakes, pastries, and other goodies are being made in the same kitchen as before, with the same people making them as before. All of the precautions are the same. It’s still Celiac-safe. The owner has even branched out and brought in a GF/Vegan vendor who has very good breads and bagels (I’m sure everything is good, but that’s all I’ve tried so far). The owner of Who’s may have taken the name elsewhere, but all of the goodies that we love are still in Paramus.

It’s a regular bagel store with a huge offering of gluten free. Separate section in the kitchen where gf is made and they have a separate cutting board and toaster to make bagels and sandwiches and will change gloves. We are super sensitive celiac and have come here many times. They have an incredible amount of gluten free delicious treats, more then I could list but they include assorted mini Italian cookies, Italian pastries, donuts, muffins, bagels, big sugar cookies, cakes, pies, the list goes on. The gf is kept in separate bins or is individually packaged up and labeled. Today they had additional treats including a variety of big pretzels and funnel cake!! It tasted just like funnel cake you get at a carnival. Made in a separate fryer!Incredible options and best of all, super safe for celiacs!

This is an amazing place. It has a dedicated gluten free space where they make lots of gf pastries and bagels but also have regular gluten bagels and other foods for those who can eat them. If you tell them you have celiac they will change gloves, use a gf toaster, and take extra precautions. The number of gf items is amazing. Many are also df. While I was there they were making fresh zeppoles, something I never thought I would ever have again. They were hot and crispy and covered with powdered sugar- really good! I will definitely go back whenever I am in the area.

We came to Paramus from out of town in search of new furniture. Didn’t find the furniture but hit the jackpot when we came upon this bagel place on the app today! I’ve dreamed about having a fresh (not frozen) gluten free bagel for over 15 years. Not only did this gem have the most delicious gf bagels in 4 different favors but they carry the most delicious gf Italian cookies and other gf pastries as well! You can’t even tell they are gluten free! The staff was very friendly (thanks, Elliott!), understanding, and accommodating and even changed their gloves to make my sandwich. They also have a dedicated toaster for their gluten free customers. I’ll be dreaming of this sandwich tonight and can’t wait to go back with my other celiac family members. You need to give this place a try!

My favorite gf bagels!! They have such a great selection of baked goods also.
Time to edit my review. After three trips they finally changed gloves, used separate knife and cutting board and offered a dedicated toaster. I was lucky enough to get fresh bagels right out of the oven. Excellent chewy and delicious. Glad they got their act together.
MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU’RE CELIAC. Not all employees there take the same precautions.

No separate toaster or knives. Not celiac friendly
So many options! Went for a gf bagel and was happy and surprised to find they had a wide selection of gf bakery items. They have a dedicated toaster so let them know you have celiac. Bagels were good. They had 3 types while we were there. Everything was the best. And they were warm from oven. I loved this place.

This has become my favorite place. Finally gluten free bagels and treats that taste amazing. What names this place even better is not just the friendly staff but they they have designated gf toaster, baking area and knife. Highly recommend for celiacs just let them know you have celiac and they will be sure to change gloves and avoid cross contamination

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST GF BAGEL I HAVE HAD!! They have partnered with who’s gluten free. Who’s gluten free is closing their other location by the end of the year. The bagel store will expand the gluten free options with a celiac on site.
