Their gluten free pancakes are fantastic and the burgers are absolutely amazing. I know it's weird to order burgers at a pancake house, but they are some of the best in town. The gluten free buns are average. It is hit and miss on the staff being knowledgeable about gluten.

Not at all Celiac safe. No dedicated spaces in kitchen according to waitress. And i got terribly sick ordering what she said would be safe. Never again.

Would leave no stars if possible. Waiters did not understand celiac, and did not take it seriously. I had the gluten free pancakes, and got very sick from them. As of 2020, they are NOT celiac safe.

So, important note for celiacs! Because our waitress was very celiac-aware (thank you Tabitha!), she warned us that the kitchen doesn’t have a separate cooking space for gf pancakes and waffles. We enjoyed our eggs, bacon and fruit cup anyway. Awesome friendly clean atmosphere! Sometimes, the peace of mind in having celiac-aware staff is more important than eating a pancake 😊!

I read that they had gluten-free pancakes on the reader board as we turned into the parking lot. The pancakes were light with a light crispy crust, the best I've ever had, I think. I had it with the lingonberry butter and jam.

My husband and i are new to townand searching for gluten free friendly local restaurants. We were so excited to find a place that actually had gluten free pancakes on the menu. Sadly our excitement was short lived. I ordered bacon & eggs with gf pancakes. the cakes were thick, dry, undercooked and crumbled when trying to butter them. the eggs and bacon were so so. We were very disappointed and probably won't go back.

They have waffles and pancakes that are gluten-free. AND THEY'RE GOOD. They're even right and proper waffles, not belgian-style. It's a cute little locals breakfast joint that feels like what Village Inn used to be, before they turned into a modern giant blah chain. Then, of course, the rest of the menu is your typical breakfast-all-day fare, so pretty gluten-safe in general, but since they're aware enough to offer proper GF waffles and pancakes - way more safe than usual. We had 2 strongly gluten-allergic folks with us, neither had even the slightest issue. Both enjoyed their pancakes and waffles immensely. I WANT to say they're Celiac-friendly, as a result... but I'll leave that to some brave Celiac folks to decide for themselves.

Don't visit the Kitsap Way site. While the GF pancakes and toast are fine, they always have an excuse why they can't make GF waffles. This time, an excuse about the waffle maker. Basically I think they don't want to clean it. Go to Wheaton Way instead. Always safe and available

I eat here about once every few months and don’t have issues. The staff are friendly and always double confirm when setting the food down that it’s gluten free (probably because they know I’m nervous about it.)

I just called this place to ask about gluten free pancakes, the woman who answered the phone said their buckwheat cakes are not gluten free and didn't say anything else about having any gluten free pancakes or other menu items. Not sure what others have had here that was safe.
