I took a chance and ate here my last night in Chincoteague. It’s the only place I didn’t call in advance to interrogate about their GF protocol l because I had intended to eat somewhere else my last night but it turned out to be closed that day.
The woman who took my order seemed a little bit knowledgeable but not the level I would normally be comfortable with. They had an allergen list for the GF cauliflower crust that she pulled out to let me review to confirm the crust is GF (it is - it also contains cheese). It either is a premade crust that comes with its own pan or they have a separate pan for GF, I wasn’t sure. I took a chance on it because I didn’t have a backup plan. The pizza was fantastic and I didn’t get sick. I’m happy I gave leftovers for another day. I would probably go back but would ask better questions to limit my potential gluten exposure. The staff was really nice.
