Had a great lunch here—I had a farm burger with bacon and the other person with me (non-celiac wheat allergy that is ok with cross contamination) had a chicken burger with caramelized onion and lettuce plus an order of fries and a glass of fresh lemonade. The burger buns are very good and are toasted separately from the gluten buns. The fries are from a shared fryer so sadly not safe for me … but they looked good. Great atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. We will be back!

Excellent burger! The GF bun was very tasty.

No dedicated frier and this is not have a dedicated gf space for food
Good burgers. Gf buns were okay, but I’ve never had a good one. Burgers were medium-rare as we asked. Very fresh real arugula, not the tasteless stuff you get at the grocery store.

Good burger, they have GF bun. You can’t do their fries if your celiac because they don’t have a dedicated fryer but the collards and slaw are good.

Great place for a burger. They have GF buns and they are one of the best GF buns I have had. The bun was not thick and dense as a lot of GF buns. No GF fryer so I had the kale super food salad(it came in a small cup with sliced apple, cooked onion, seeds, a sweet crumble). The salad was differently different, I ate it, but would probably or a different one the next time. All in all a good place for a burger
We ate here our first night in Asheville, burger with GF bun was the best I have tasted. The bun actually holds together very well for GF, no fat dripping from the burger. The salad I had was interesting mix of flavors not just the same old side salad. My husband said the fries were delicious however I did not try them due to cross contamination. Service was super friendly we arrived on a Sunday night and they were close to closing so we felt bad but they were super nice about it. Would love to eat here again.

Good Burgers. Menu is clearly marked and staff is knowledgeable but make sure you specify you have an allergy or celiacs, there’s a decent chance of cross contamination even with GF options otherwise.

GF buns and seems knowledgeable about cross contact. The buns are very tasty and seem to me made in house. No dedicated fryer. Side salad, superfood salad and collard greens are safe for sides.

Good gluten free burger buns. Little pricey 2-3 dollars up charge. Fries not for celiac! Always good food here and knowledgeable staff. Never gotten sick from here.

Gluten free bun is an extra 2-3$ so I usually just get the lettuce wrap. But never had a reaction, also tried the collard greens. Been here many times and it is safe. Also really delicious!

It says on the website that you can ask for gluten free fries, but they did not have that option. This morning I went to a dedicated gluten free breakfast place and had no problems but went to this restaurant and began feeling sick.
You can get gluten free buns, they also have a couple gluten free side options.

I ordered a burger on a GF bun and noticed it looked suspiciously delicious when it came out. Thankfully, I asked a manager who confirmed it wasn't GF. They remade it. Fries are absolutely not safe.
No
This place shouldnt even be on find me gluten-free!!! Only gluten-free option was a bun and it was toasted on the same griddle as the regular buns. There weren't any side options in my opinion. Felt the staff was to hurried to listen to my allergies to help me make the best choices. Very disappointed!!
Burger & gf bun were yummy! We would definitely go back.
Great burgers with gluten free bun options. Always good. Great porch with street view. Careful with side choices...
Yes
Gluten free farm burger was delicious! Totally going back!

Staff was knowledgable and very attentive despite being very busy on a holiday weekend. It felt a bit like walking into the lion's den with communal condiment containers and rolls of paper towels at the table and didn't expect any guarantee that I would be able to avoid cross-contamination.
good place to eat, menu was a little confusing as to what was gluten free but I ended up getting the vegan burger w/ gf bun and I would recommend it. The kale slaw was also very good. nice staff and nice environment. I wish the fries had be gluten free though :)
Yes
Not celiac friendly. Actually, very few GF options. There were two sides listed as GF and they were sold out of the one. GF bun was toasted on the same area as the regular buns. Celiacs beware.
No
A good number of GF options - best burger that I’ve had in a long time, with a GF bun and a kale slaw that was great.
Burger and shake were good, I was disappointed I couldn’t get the fries because of shared fryer. My son’s apples and veggies came cut like fries so that was cool. All in all so-so.
Burgers were some of the best we've had! GF buns were great. My Celiac son had grilled corn instead of fries and he said it was better than most fries he's had! Definitely want to go back!
Yes
I was excited to try this place since I read such great reviews on the gluten free bun (Honestly, I'll take an Udi's bun over this one any day). Within 15 minutes I was sick. Also, the lady that took our order was rude. We paid a lot for an "eh" burger and a condescending employee. Won't be returning.

GF friendly place. Knowledgeable staff. GF burgers (w/GF Buns). Fries are not GF, shared fryer.
Good burger, GF buns.
Yes
Although staff are familiar with Gluten this place is not celiac friendly. No gurantee of cross contamination.

Really fun place, the staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination. My burger was great and the chili was very good. The gluten free bun was delicious!

My kids have celiac disease and ate here with no problem. Great, safe food!!

Enjoyed the burger no sweet potato fries!
Had the gluten free chicken burger with lettuce tomato and onion with sweet potato fries and was excellent! Was visiting the biltmore and found this restaurant through this app. Highly recommend for those who are unsure of where to eat for lunch or dinner. Offers mostly burgers and salad options.
The menu and sourcing is to be commended however when asked about the gluten free options, the cashier said "the fries themselves are gluten free but the fryer is not....if that matters." Yes. It matters a heck of a lot."
No
Awesome burger and great, helpful staff. We'll be back for sure!
Only reason in not giving this establishment 5 stars is they don't have gluten free fries and I think they should!! Yeah Burger in Atlanta does it amazingly well in a very small space. They even offer gluten free onion rings (Yeah!). That said: Great burgers and salads. Nice gluten free buns. But, what's a burger without fries? So, we rarely go there.
Great burgers and milkshakes! GF buns and beer. Staff was knowledgeable and knew that the FRIES ARE NOT SAFE.
Excellent gluten free bun and burger. The spicy mustard will clear your sinuses. They are not skimpy at all w the toppings.
Staff was very knowledgeable. Food was fresh and delicious, as was the gluten free bun.
Knowledgeable staff. Burgers from heaven. Best gluten free buns ever! No dedicated fryer, so avoid the fries.
Yes
Bangin burgers, awesome gluten free buns, gf beer, cider, vegetarian options, local grass fed antibiotic & hormone free beef. Local seasonal menu.
Their GF buns are phenomenal, only one kind of gluten free beer, but I'm glad I can have my 2 favorite things without worry about it
100% grass fed beef. Super homemade gf buns and knowledgeable staff
Gluten Free Buns for their burgers, and when I said that I was Gluten Free, they said they have a separate frier for the fries. With cider on tap too, I highly recommend. You can also get the kids ice cream afterwards from the case.

Sit at the bar counter so you can communicate allergy with your server without feeling rushed by people in line behind you.
Over several visits, servers have been very good about understanding gluten allergy and marking it clearly on the ticket for the kitchen. Request the GF fryer for fries.

I had a delicious GF burger and kale slaw. The GF bun was the best I’ve ever had - I’ll have to ask them who supplies their buns! I tested everything, and it was safe. Tasty food, and I didn’t get sick!

EDIT: Some time ago I had a really bad experience at Farm Burger, I figured it was just an off night staffed with rogue employees, so traveling back through Huntsville I decided to give them a second chance, I figured with that many good reviews they must be good. I’m so glad I did!
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a burger and fries and not got at least a little sick, I figure it’s a contaminated spatula issue, but ate a great burger and fries with zero symptoms (I’m very sensitive)
Thanks Farm Burger! Keep up the good work!!
Old Review-
I ate here based on the good reviews, but I must have caught them on a bad day. My instinct was to walk out before my food even came, and as sick as I am right now I wish I would have.
The fact that they had headbanger rock playing loudly was very odd, like I said maybe the manager was away and it was just a bad day.
The guy who took my order was knowledgeable and suggested the Kale Slaw instead of fries because of cross contamination, but I assume they gave me a bun that wasn’t actually gluten free because this is way worse than cross contamination.

One of our favorites. They have a dedicated fryer and all of the patties are GF. Kitchen knows the procedure for cooking for folks with CD.
