Farmhouse Restaurant

This is our favorite place to eat and on the drive between Indianapolis and Chicago. The food is fresh from the farm. They have gluten free options listed on their regular menu. My Celiac daughter loves the gluten free pizza which is cooked on its own pan and has fresh cheese. She also loves the chocolate milk. My only wish is that they would have gluten free dessert options. They have great homemade ice cream but it is not free from cross contamination so my daughter could not eat it.

The staff at least knew what gluten free was, and they were able to point out the gluten free symbols in the menu. However, after placing my order, the waitress asked if I wanted corn bread. It would be super awesome if all wait staff under went training as to what gluten is and how to help those of us with food allergies/sensitivities. It’s no fun getting sick while traveling. But having said that, I am ever so grateful to eating establishments that provide gluten free options! My burger and fries were delicious..way too much food! My hubby loved all of his gluten-full options as well. Prices not too bad. Not sure who to mention this part to, but driving down the road, we saw billboard after billboard calling this place “Fair Oaks Farmhouse”...but looking for “fair oaks” in the search yields nothing. You have to enter “farmhouse” to find it in this app.

Gluten Free buns available for Burgers. Need little place right on FairLife Farm.

There are gluten free options but staff doesn’t seem extremely knowledgeable in what is safe or not for celiac and for the price, I was disappointed. We had the bacon appetizer which was very good but my prime rib burger was definitely lacking flavor. The gluten free bun was good but the meat was flavorless. My husbands pork porterhouse was not bad but a little salty. I may go again and try something else to give them another try.

Great, great food! The chef has a special celiac friendly menu. Worth the money

Wow! Best pork porterhouse EVER! So glad to find that the Farmhouse has a gluten free menu. So delicious!

The bacon appetizer is gluten free and amazing. The ice cream is gluten free and outstanding. I cannot remember what I had as an main dish but it was good. Will go again.

The server had a GF menu, and I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with coleslaw. The chicken was incredibly fresh and juicy, and the GF bun was one of the best I've ever had. I love a good mayo coleslaw, and this one is top two I've had. Husband enjoyed his glutenful meal as well. Highly recommend!
