Not at all that great as it claims to be. One really hot summer day, as it gets in Chico, my young son asked for a cup of water and they asked him if he had any money because it wasn’t free. We headed over to Spiteri’s. This place wanted to charge for a cup of water to a kid in 100 degree weather? REALLY?? They are also super expensive - don’t recommend these cheapskates.
Called the day ahead and was assured they were “experts” at making GF sandwiches. The next day I went to pick up sandwiches for my family. The man making the sandwiches used paper to separate the gf sandwich and the counter that was full of crumbs to put the sandwiches together and they did have squeeze bottles for the mustard and Mayo. Man did a crappy job of wiping the slicer and counter off before starting the gf sandwich. They need a separate area for the slicer or pre prep meat and cheese before making gluten sandwiches first thing in the morning. Ok if you are will to take a chance on getting sick. I WILL NOT buy another sandwich from here unless changes are made to ensure a safe sandwich for celiacs. And I would love to see that happen.
