Felix's Fish Camp Restaurant

Been here a couple times now since Celiac diagnosis and both times I've left full and happy. Gluten free menu has a decent variety, would be nice if they could do a little more. Everything is always super good though. So far my favorites have been the crab soup, sauteed crab claws, and the casino oysters.

I was not impressed. The tacos on the gf menu aren’t gf because the shells are fried in a shared fryer. The soup was Luke warm but good. That’s as far as I got because my husband ordered an appetizer and it was cold so the waiter returned it to the kitchen. They’d brought back the same soup after putting it in the microwave. That was my husbands final straw. Overall, I was disappointed in the gf menu because it’s poorly put together. I couldn’t locate half of what was listed on the gf menu to compare to the regular menu because there were no descriptions. We are locals to the area and will not return.

Wonderful experience. The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free safe handling. The gf menu has many options. There os a separate gf menu.

Visiting from Colorado and enjoyed our dinner! So glad I saw the good reviews. The server was knowledgeable and the food was delicious! I had the Camp Salad with grilled shrimp and a cup of crab soup, which is not to be missed!

Gluten free options were decent Waiter joked about lying to me regarding the gluten free items-seriously not funny at all.

Food came out with bread-again after waiter joked about GF so I got to watch my coworkers eat then mine came out. I knew better but ate anyway-there was an issue with contamination!!

I would not come back, 100% due to the gluten aspect.

If you offer GF then be serious about it - it’s a disease-gluten will make people sick, just like it made me!!!!

Overall, let’s do better! Either be serious or remove gluten options

We almost didn’t come here because there isn’t a kids menu or a ton of gluten free options. So glad we did, the food was amazing! Our kids split the burgers and ate it with no buns. My husband and oldest got the fish tacos and said they were so good. I got the seared ahi tuna (just had them leave off the sauce), brown rice, and green beans all of which was phenomenal. Service was great too!

Server very knowledgeable and reassuring with my order. Menu not marked with gf, but most can be made gf. I am very sensitive and rarely eat out . I will eat here again next time I am in Mobile.. Our server’s name was Eric Henry he was wonderful. We had large group and he did great with our orders. Great service

My kids(adults) love this place. As a family we’ve been here multiple times over the years. While they are much better than they used to be as afar as GF, there are not a lot of options. My dinner last night had a roll touching my fish. Usually I would send it back... but because of the wait I decided to cut off half of the fish just in case. They do prepare GF food in a separate area. The fish was nice, salad was decent, shrimp cocktail was really good. View was spectacular.

The food that I had here did not cause me any issues, however, they do not have a separate gluten free menu or prep space (to my knowledge). Our sever did have knowledge of gluten allergens and helped steer me away from unsafe selections.

Gluten free options, no specific menu but servers are very knowledgeable. There were a number of options and sides to choose from as well. The food was delicious and the fish taco appetizer was outstanding! I had the seared Ahi tuna with wasabi cream sauce (assured GF by server) and a baked potato for dinner. House Italian and vinegar and oil are gluten free dressings. The staff was friendly and the food timing was spaced appropriately. The views of the gulf are amazing! Definitely a worthy stop!

I eat here every chance I get, use common sense, I get the white fish Greek style salad no bread, Cole slaw love that s place wish they would add more options

Not many GF options, menu is not marked so have to rely on servers. Had fish tacos and a side salad with oil and vinegar. Fish tacos were good, did not get sick.

they had a new GF list that had alot of options. I had crab soup and fish tacos with no problems. Delicious.

The choices are a bit limited, baked pot and coke slaw are the only safe sides, but staff was knowledgeable and the food is great. Lots of personality in this place.

No gf menu but well informed wait staff. Average variety of options. My fish was brought out with a bread roll on the plate though... so they may need more training in the kitchen

Great GF options. I had a very well informed waitress and manager. They were not only accommodating, but SO nice about it as well.
