I stopped here when visiting from out of town because of the great reviews and also because I really miss good donuts since going gluten free. These were pretty good, but not quite what I was expecting. They are cake donuts that are fried, not yeast donuts. They remind me of crullers. I liked how much variety there was to choose from and they were also super cheap, $2 each! They are a bit smaller than normal donuts, but can’t complain too much for that price. I have had better gluten free donuts in the atlanta area where I’m from, but these are definitely still worth trying!

I was so excited to have gluten free donuts. When we arrived I was told that their fryer was broken so they fried the GF donuts with the rest of them.

The service was amazing! They made sure to change gloves and were very nice. The doughnuts weren’t the best thing I’ve ever tasted but were still quite good!

These are very small, super greasy, average-tasting cake donuts. Not bad, not great. However, the service we received was poor and discourteous and for this reason I would not recommend. If you’re celiac you take a huge chance ordering from a shared kitchen, shared fryer, shared equipment. A tip for any large group or family- they under no circumstances allow any one group to purchase more than six GF donuts. Even if there are seven of you- one of you will not be allowed to buy a donut. A ridiculous policy especially considering that if you walk in alone you can order six for yourself. They are unwavering in this so if you’re going to want more than six total (remember they are extremely small) in your party- walk in separately and act like you don’t know each other. If they even suspect you are together they will not serve you. Another tip- skip altogether if you’re celiac. Not safe.

Had a separate tray on the top shelf with GF cake donuts. They had 6-8 options for flavors. I ordered 3 donuts-blueberry, chocolate, and dragonfruit. Taste was average, but it was nice to have donuts with my family. The girl helping us did package the GF items separate from regular donuts and changed gloves after touching gluten containing items.

A limited offering of gluten free donuts and they are pretty small in size but when you’re gluten free, you’re always thankful for a donut! I got chocolate glazed and cookies and cream. A nice little treat!

We were coming from out of town and I realized Fiction Donuts was closing before I got there. My daughter has never eaten a donut at a restaurant and I was hoping she’d be able to try it. Tony (I believe she is the owner) went above and beyond to make sure we received donuts at our hotel and take care of us. Not to mention the donuts were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place. What a find!

Dedicated fryer, GF donuts are made first and put away before they make others. Amazing flavors, I recommend the Berry Goat Cheese and Chai Sugar!!

I had the chocolate sugar, berry goat cheese, and chocolate frosted donuts. They were all delicious. Some a little lighter and the chocolate/chocolate a little more dense. Zero negative reaction. Would return.

They usually have 3-5 different donut options that are gluten free. They are yummy, however they still don’t really taste like a regular donut. It’s a fun place to go and feel normal

Love the GF chai sugar donut. I go about once a week and have never gotten sick.
Yes
Delicious cake donuts. Chai was my favorite. They make the gluten free donuts first in a clean kitchen before they make the other donuts.

I don't get GF donuts very often where I live, so this was a special treat for me! They were amazing and a nice variety of freshly made donuts. Raspberry goat cheese was my favorite. Highly recommend this place and appreciate that they made GF donuts!
These gluten free donuts were soooo good! Cake like, moist center, with a nice crispy outside. Highly recommend!
I had a gluten free donut with goat cheese icing and a berry compote swirled on top. So good!
Yes
Great variety of tasty, gluten free donuts. They make the GF donuts in fresh oil and then make the regular ones so there’s no CC. Friendly and helpful staff. To be clear these are cake donuts as some people may be expecting yeast/Krispy Kreme type donuts.
Yes
Delicious gluten free donuts. Staff are so friendly and careful to not cross contaminate. I am celiac and never have a problem. Cake type donuts. Berry goat cheese, chocolate and coconut are my favorites. Delicious coffee also. Getting to be my Friday morning treat.
So greasy! My 4 yr old would not eat them and he loves donuts. They were celiac friendly but they were not yummy.
Yes
The berry goat cheese donuts were fabulous!!! I tried the chai sugar donut also, but it was too sweet for me. Both were a little more dense than I’d like, but still good. A bit pricey though, $2 each donut. I am not celiac so I can’t address whether it is safe for celiac or not.
Good donuts but they could use a little more frosting on them. I would go back
Pretty good but you pay the $$$

Delicious GF donuts and lots to choose from in the AM. Chai sugar was amazing. Owner was super nice and helpful. Lovely to support a small biz.
The donuts were great! They actually have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free donuts. These were delicious! They are more dense than gluten-filled donuts, but that’s typical of gluten free baked goods. This was delicious and was happy to find this on our trip. They change gloves, different tongs, etc... to eliminate cross-contamination.

I tried these today. I don’t want to give them a bad rating. I really don’t, but honestly these donuts were like cute stones. They were sooooo hard. My husband thought he would get a dozen and he did. The flavors were good, but these were not soft. I asked him if they had been made the day before or if maybe they were gotten from a leftover batch from days back. There is NO WAY they were fresh. I promise you. NO WAY. So dense and hard and DENSE. Think super dense and then think twice as dense as that. I applaud them for offering gluten free options and I would totally try it one more time if i lived close by only because I can’t believe that all those great reviews could be wrong, but we were visiting from out of town, so I can’t give it another try.

The absolute best donuts I have ever had! I recommend this place to all! The GF donuts were awesome!
As mentioned, they clean the fryers after closing and gf donuts are made before regular donuts to avoid contamination. Five options to choose from today. I had cranberry sage and chocolate frosted and they were delicious. Very friendly too!

I haven’t had a donut in so long and I was so excited. The gluten free donuts were amazing and I didn’t get sick after it. They cook all the gluten free donuts in the morning before the fryers are contaminated with gluten . They also have an assortment of gluten free donuts. I highly recommend fiction donuts.

Lots of choices! Knowledgeable staff. A little greasy but yummy.
It had been 10 years since I had had a donut! Their cake donuts were wonderful and such interesting and unique toppings! Super! My wife enjoyed the raised donuts too. Try I!
