We were just there and I had the crab cakes which are gluten free. Absolutely delicious!

Menu was marked with gf items. Ordered cauliflower appetizer and crab cakes. Both were good and didn’t need to be modified. Waitress was helpful and seemed knowledgeable.

When I looked up the menu online there were gf markings on the menu which is always encouraging. When we got there the gf were only on salads(why is Caesar salad without croutons not gf?) and the oysters. I ordered a chicken sandwich without the bun and am currently in a gluten haze waiting for my heartbeat to slow down and my head to clear.

They have very few GF options on the menu. We ordered drinks and by the time we were ready to order they were out of some of the seafood (which makes up about half of the GF options). So we had to leave. While we were walking out the door they informed us about a few other options, but that was after we already paid for the drinks and were on our way out. If you’re going to have limited GF options to begin with at least let your customers know half of it is unavailable.

My daughter and I are both gf due to celiac. She had the NY strip steak, and I had CRAB CAKES. Yes, crab cakes! The meal was delicious, and both my daughter and I felt fine afterwards. I will definitely be going back.

We were so excited the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with seafood risotto was marked Gf on the menu and it was AMAZING!! They also modified their BLT so it would be safe for my son who has a shellfish allergy.

The server was knowledgeable about items that contained gluten. While the fries themselves are gluten free, they are in a shared frier. She also checked in grey for the Bloody Mary I ordered.
There are many gluten free items. I had the lobster Cobb salad with ranch dressing. It came tossed with ranch dressing and a ice cream scoop of lobster salad on top and fresh avocado. It was very good.

Ordered gluten free grilled chicken Caesar salad. It came with tons of croutons. Not sure they get it.
My daughter ate the grilled chicken, it was fine. She ate a crouton by accident, hopefully she won’t get sick...fingers crossed.
Asked for knives and forks for takeout, none were provided.

No gf menu. My food came out and after I had taken a few bites, the waitress informed me that it actually wasn’t gluten free. I paid a lot of money just to have an allergic reaction. Make sure you ask multiple times if you food is gluten free.
This place is just behind the Washington Street mall. It had a small dog friendly patio that accommodated our party of 7 and two chihuahuas. The drinks were good and cold and we had a nice breeze to keep us cool on a HOT summer afternoon. The inside is a modern, clean looking ocean themed restaurant. My Celiac daughter ordered a bun less burger although I believe they have GF buns - she just wasn’t in the mood for it. They do not have a dedicated fryer, but offered a side salad with the burger. It was cooked well, tasty and she didn’t get sick. The rest of our non-GF meals were delicious. We would definitely go back.

I love Fins! I get the lobster Cobb salad! The restaurant is beautiful. The prices are reasonable. The staff is great! Love it!

No gf menu. Some options, including crab cakes. Good food, small portions and high prices. Would not go back.
The only reason I didn't give FINS five stars was they didn't have a gluten free menu. But they are very accomodating and all you have to do is ask. I explained I could not eat gluten. The waitress offered two dishes that were gluten free but said they would accomodate me with another dish if I would like. I decided on the crab cakes since she told me they were already gluten free. They were delicious and were served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I did not get sick at all and really enjoyed the food and the fun, upbeat atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
