I was very excited when they said they could make hibachi and fried rice gluten free! So I ordered that. When the plate came out it had wheat lo mein. I sent it back and tried to explain it to the waitress (very sweet, I could hear her asking questions in the back). They brought me back soba noodles that they assured me were 100% buckwheat. Food tasted good but I haven’t been glutened so badly in years.

I love fins! However, even though I told the waitress I’m a celiac and allergic to wheat, I felt a crunch in the spicy tuna roll… yep, panko. She ran and told the chef to remake without panko, but I’d already consumed 2 pieces. She was very apologetic, gave the second roll without, and asked if there was anything she could do or help with. I will go back, but will make doubly sure to check each and every roll BEFORE consuming!!

This used to be my favorite place for sushi. The other day I ordered my regular Philadelphia rolls substituting steamed shrimp for the fish. The plate it came on looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned... it had some crusty spots near the edges. Not sure why I ate it anyway, but I did. I have been sick for days.

Great food and staff is pretty knowledgeable. GF soy sauce available upon request. Don’t get the kani (imitation crab) as most has some form of gluten in it. The steak roll is good and any of the fish rolls. Good experience overall!
