The service and quality of our first time to this restaurant was fantastic! The gluten-free pizza bread and corn based penne pasta was a treat. Above all, the knowledge, understanding, and level of accomodatodation with our server was excellent.

I had the salmon and split a gluten free pizza with my partner. I’ve been suffering for the last 12 hours. This place is now on my literal shitlist.

The food was delicious and the staff was very gf accommodating. They have a gluten free pizza crust and past option so maybe pizza or pasta can be made gf. They also had a gf chocolate cake for dessert. For appetizers with bread, they gave me gf bread. Really great ambiance as well!

Server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Clarified allergy or preference. He explained that it is not a gluten free kitchen but they would take every precaution with my food. Ordered a shared dip appetizer with my friends that included bread. He offered a gluten free bread option and made sure it was in its own separate basket. It was great! Also offer gluten free pasta and pizza options as well as other menu items.

Waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about precautions. The food was yummy. I really liked that they had a special that was also gluten free, made it feel like a normal experience being able to order the special! The waiter also knew exactly what cocktails were gluten free 😊 their gf "bread" is actually a pizza crust with olive oil and sea salt, baked. It's quite delicious but not really like bread, that's the only down side. Overall, really felt safe eating there!

This is one of my gluten-free favorites! And the GF pizza is delicious! I had the Mushroom & Leek pizza.
If you have been to a white cloth restaurant that also offers gluten free pasta/pizza crust substitution, then you know what to expect. What they lacked in a diverse gluten free menu was made up by the exciting first date going on beside me, "I'll never work for a CPA ever again" said the man "🦗🦗🦗" said Ms. Lady
Staff was amazing and knowledgeable and food delicious. GF pizza was the best I’ve had. Dessert too!
Yes
Awesome GF pizza! Great friendly service! My only issue would be it gets really loud at peak biz times. But that won't keep me away a nbn d they still get 5 stars!
I had the mushroom pasta and it was phenomenal. The cream sauce was a little thin, but I appreciated that I definitely knew there were no thickeners in it to worry about. The gf bread basket was a little pricey but seriously addicting. I also had the flourless chocolate cake which was very rich and shareable. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The waiter was definitely knowledgeable about gf options.
A word of advice though- they don't take reservations. Go early around 5pm if possible, otherwise you'll be waiting a good 1.5 hours.

Delicious GlutenFree pizza!

The waiter went out of his way to make me feel comfortable enough to order the gf pizza. I'm a very sensitive celiac of 20 years. The food 2as amazing! The gf BBQ chicken pizza was wonderful!
I ate the GF pizza and flourless chocolate cake and it was AMAZING. Best gluten free food I have had since diagnosis, designated oven, and no reaction at all
Yes
I have an allergy to gluten, and I'm able to go there without a single worry. Great food!
Knowledgeable staff. No dedicated menu but they can make a lot of adjustments. Would suggest celiacs avoid pizza because they are clear it could be cross-contaminated.
This restaurant has gone out of its way to make sure I enjoy the dining experience along with everyone else. There isn't the "awkward" discussion, the staff is fully knowledgable on how to make things gluten free for me. I love it here!!
Yes
Although they do state on their menu that while they offer gluten free options there is no way they can guarantee that cross contamination won't happen. I had no issue with my meal and the servers were very knowledgable and helpful while suggesting plates.
This restaurant is NOT safe for those celiac disease. I had a severe reaction. I'm hoping to speak with the management to see if they can learn to avoid cross contamination.
No
Very good experience. Pizza was delicious, they also have gluten free pasta and a flourless cake that was amazing.
Yes
I always feel confident eating here. They totally get celiac and have separate oven for gf pizzas. Great staff knowledgable about cross contamination and delicious food.
Yes
This place was amazing. All their pizza and pastas can be made gluten free, and our waiter even asked if I wanted my pizza cooked in a separate oven. The server staff were also really friendly, even if they weren't your server!
Great night, great food, and no ill effects from food. Not a gluten free kitchen but pizza is a pre-made crust prepared on separate cooking space and cooked in separate oven. Staff seemed very knowledgable and conscious of allergies.
Yes
Great food and service, and their gluten free pizza is really good.
gf pasta and pizza
They have always been conscious of my allergies and once made me my own presto with no cheese. Very much recommend.
They can make most items gluten free. We had gluten free pizza and it was amazing. Crust was thin and crispy and very tasty. Can't wait to try other pizzas and then some pastas. We will be back many, many times.
This is the same place that my son and I love, except they changed their name to fire + wine. The same owners are there as before and they still have the same seasonal menu.
Great GF pizza crust. They ask if your GF order is an allergy or a dietary choice. Answer determines oven used and maybe some other cross contamination changes.
Pizzas are thin crust and more artisan than a typical pizza place. Topping combinations include arugula pancetta and other interesting and all tasty combinations. The options change seasonally.
GF pasta was a big miss when ordered. (Since we almost always get pizza, we did not try GF pasta until about our 15th visit.) So odd that the pasta was so bad. Since everything else on menu is great, I asked for a sample of GF pasta last time I was there. I explained that I guessed the last pasta was a fluke. Turns out it was. The GF pasta was very good. So if yours is not great, send it back because someone forgot to adjust cooking times.
This a a frequently visited place for us because it is fun, lively, has great GF options and is loved by non-GFers too. Be prepared to wait on weekends and even during the week. Must be most popular place in Glen Ellyn and is one of the only places that I will wait 45 minutes for a table in an overcrowded bar.
