Firefly Cafe and Bakery

The staff had a decent selection of GF items including a delicious breakfast casserole and breakfast sandwich that they made in a pan separately for me when I let them know of my Celiacs. Food was delicious, coffee was great and they had buns for burgers too. The best part was that this restaurant staffs special needs employees through the NW WORKS program. We went back 3 times while on vacation in town.

I had the opposite experience of most reviews. GF cake was in the same display as regular cake. Staff didn’t know if the Cobb salad was gf and just looked at the board and read me the ingredients. I asked again if they were sure it wasn’t gf so they asked in the kitchen. They did check that the blue cheese and dressing was gf.

I think safe if you stick to a salad. I wouldn’t trust a sandwich and cross contamination. My experience, mixing baked goods and staff not knowing the menu usually means not having enough knowledge of cross contamination for celiac safe.

Four stars for food. Super yummy salad and fam loved their sandwiches.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Gluten free bread. Gluten free quiche. It was lovely!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to discuss your needs. There are meal options and pastries as well! I’d give them a 5 star if they had a few options in the pastry case that were “flour based” type pastries. I will be back!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of great gr options. I had the gf breakfast wrap and it was the best I’ve ever had. A great dining experience. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the selection and atmosphere.

They take a GOOD while to get your food out to you, even if its just a cold cut sandwich or something otherwise quick.

All sandwiches can be made with GF bread, but I don't find much of a variety or amount for what you're paying. $8 (plus more for the GF bread) for the bare minimum isn't worth it to me.

Recently, they added some GF dessert options which is nice.

BEWARE! Many gluten-free options, but cross-contamination in the kitchen is likely.
