Staff is clueless. No idea what gluten is or how to keep GF buns separate and safe. Absolutely will NOT eat here again.
They didn’t change their gloves, even after I asked. Used a gluten covered knife to open the gluten free bun package. Then put it directly on the toaster without aluminum foil. I saw him do all this so I explained again it’s an allergy, so he has to change his gloves, the bread can’t touch the gluten knife and it has to be toasted on foil. He looked at me like a deer in the headlights.
I also have a dairy allergy, told the guy twice and confirmed after I paid. Got my sandwich covered in cheese. I asked for a refund and they got very rude with me and said “I CHANGED MY GLOVES”.

I’m not complaining but just stating there’s a $2 upcharge for a GF roll. And the dining room was pretty messy. It’s 3:35pm and it hasn’t been been wiped down since the lunch rush.

Have been here several times. Each time they normally have the manager (Andrew) help me. He knew about celiac and the ways they could make the sandwich and things that would put me at risk. No toasting, squirt Mayo etc. I’ve never been sick and the bread is good! They warn about the possible risk of CC but I feel they take every necessary precaution to mitigate this.

I've had good luck at Firehouse ordering a GF turkey bacon ranch sub. They ask if I have an allergy and change their gloves.

I visited this location today and the person who waited on me began preparing my sub on a bread crumb covered cutting board and used the same knife he had used for regular bread and then put the gf bun in the toaster right on the shared grate. When I said something to him, he had no idea about protocol and another worker informed me that the owner told them they don’t have to do anything special anymore for GF orders. They kindly refunded my money, but I won’t go back. Definitely use caution if you order from here.
They have gf buns(Shar) which were good toasted. No sides except chips but great place to stop for a quick bite while traveling

When they have the GF bun it is a great option for something fast. If you ask they will put foil on the toaster and change gloves etc. they mark the GF items too.

Gluten free bread was delicious! So fluffy and tasted “normal” instead of dense and chemically. It was a bit smaller than the other “medium” subs in the order but I didn’t care because it was the closest to real bread I’ve found in a while. I didn’t watch them make it so I don’t fully know about cross contamination but I did get mustard and mayo packets on the side instead of it being included and my sub was wrapped in foil separately and differently than the rest of the order.
