The staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond to take precautions, but avoiding cross contamination was still impossible. They pull all ingredients from new containers, change gloves, dedicate a person to follow the order through from start to finish, put on aluminum foil through toaster, and have a comprehensive allergy program to extensively research ingredients in store and online. They really did a great job, but fighting an invisible enemy (gluten) at a sandwich shop is near impossible…it’s everywhere. I should have known better…I got glutened for the first time since my diagnosis and it’s bad enough for me to never go back here again because the risk is just too high. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the effort put forth by the company and staff to accommodate allergies and medical issues though.
