I got very sick after eating here. I got the gluten free plate with tofu and barbecue sauce and was literally just brown rice, cubes of tofu and barbecue sauce on top. Really not worth the money or experience even if I didn't get sick.

Not good for celiacs as their is not a GF kitchen and meats are prepared on a grill where teriyaki sauce is cooked on. They did let me know all of this. Took a while for food then they smothered it with sauce containing gluten.....and forgot to tell chef to change his gloves.

Caution. Fun and interesting food and flavors, with separate gluten free menu BUT even though I requested and was handed GF menu and specified 3x during my order - fish tacos arrived in flour tortilla, not corn. Several bites in, I became a suspicious and inquired. They confirmed the error apologized and remade meal, no charge. Grateful I am sensitive/not celiac or could have had even more serious consequences. Error seemed perhaps to be with lack of education at register rather than food prep. Likely still with a try but take precautions!!!

Before I ordered I told them I was gf and they cleaned the entire grill for me. Needless to say I was not worried about any contamination issues, as they clearly get it. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Almost missed the place driving by, though, as they look like a surf shop.

Majority of menu items are gluten free! Fresh, healthy food that tastes great!
