Employees flat out told me that their GF pizza is cross contaminated in the oven. They do change gloves, but the pizza is NOT celiac safe due to cross contamination. It tasted delicious but definitely made me sick.

Ordered a GF pizza with chicken, ham, garllic parm sauce, and had them bring a side of the sauce for dipping the crust. It was amazing!

This is a thick crust, no gf cracker-thin pizzas here!
Traditional (gluten) pie up top, gf is on bottom with a square shape. Delicious!
We went back for a second round of pizzas, as they were SO good. In front - the fennel sausage and Calabrian Chile, in back the Kahlua Pork. Both excellent.

If you’re looking for a declines deep crust pizza then this is your place! The only thing on the menu is the pizza that’s GF. It was very tasty and filling.

Thick deep dish crust. Ate here twice and no issues therefore 5 stars. Not my preference though for taste of glutenfree pizza crust.

I have to give kudos to the server for double checking the well rum to find out it is silver which is not gf, and then working to find right rum for my wife's cocktail drink. We kept it simple because they are more known for their beers, ala barley. The mixed drinks tend to use mixes and or flavored liqueurs. So ok, but would not come here for cocktails. The pizzas are big, and loaded with cheese. If you have some intolerance to dairy, plan accordingly. The gf pizza is like a raised breadboard dough with cheese and pizza sauce, two big squares. Again, very cheesy. Great atmosphere overlooking Kuhio. But can see how this might get long queues during peak times, as seating seems limited to me.

The elusive search for a great GF pizza continues, but Flour and Barley makes a great attempt. Definitely better than anything back home. Most GF crusts are thin and crispy, but Flour and Barley add some fluff in between. I will still give five stars but in my heart I still long for the true fluffiness or gluten filled bread! I will say we are close, but in the meantime, Flour and Barley is a good stop. I will always be grateful for any GF options. They told me they bake the GF pizzas in a different section/pan using different knives. I do not know if it is celiac safe. They do have a GF beer and some local ciders which is a plus!

Gluten free crust was thick and airy but quite filling! Definitely a unique texture to it. If you order the farmhouse, be sure to specify getting your egg cooked! I got barely cooked, mostly raw eggs on mine. Asked them to cook it more and it was still mostly raw egg whites. Otherwise the rest of the pizza was good

We ”Uber eats” this for dinner last night. After a long day of walking we just wanted a yummy GF meal in our room. Thankfully this place showed up earlier in my FIND ME GF app so I knew it was an option. When the pizza arrived, it was beautiful. So much so that we called the restaurant to confirm it was truly GF. The employee assured us that it was. It was at least 2 inches thick and had a ciabatta type consistency. To say it was amazing is an understatement. I just can’t believe how good it was. There were only 4 pieces about 3x4 inches big. I could only eat one of them. I had no reactions at all!!! ❤❤❤

We visited here during a recent stay in Honolulu. The service staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The pizza is fabulous. This is a thick crust pizza and unlike most GF pizzas found elsewhere. We'll definitely go back during our next trip to Hawaii.

Not the best pizza base I’ve had, however I’m not that big of a fan of deep dish pizza. It was ok but not the best pizza I’ve had, the top was a bit soggy and there was way too much topping going on... but it was fine and edible.

Best GF pizza I've ever had. The crust was very fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Ate here twice with no problems, and I'm quite sensitive. The genovese pizza was absolutely amazing. If I could have this weekly, I would!!

With a name like Flour & Barley, we weren’t expecting to see any GF options on the menu, but we were proven wrong! Our waiter explained to us that the rice flour crust is made in a special pan, preventing cross contamination with the regular pizza. It was the best gluten free restaurant pizza we had ever had. We can’t have dairy, so our options were somewhat limited — we got the Verdure vegetable pizza without cheese. It was delicious. In terms of serving size, we got 2 pizzas for the 2 of us on the recommendation of our waiter. It was a very large serving, but we ate it all right there because the thick, French bread-style pizza probably wouldn’t have traveled well. If you order an appetizer/salad or get a pizza with cheese or meat, you could probably share one between two people. Although extremely pricey (about $20 per pizza plus $4 for gluten free crust), Flour & Barley is a great option for gluten free pizza in Honolulu, and we have not had any gluten exposure symptoms.

The wait staff were educated on the needs of gluten free, and what menu items were suitable for a person eating gf. The thick, soft and delicious rice flour pizza crust was one of the best I've ever had, crispy on bottom and lofty in the middle, and their toppings are unique and wonderful! Not your average pizza joint. It was so good I made myself eat the whole thing even though I didn't really have the room for it, haha. We will go again before we leave Hawaii. I had no issues after eating here!

All pizzas can be made gluten free and are made in a seperate area in a cast iron skillet to avoid cross contamination. Staff were helpful and make you feel confident that it is safe. Highly recommend

Not Celiac friendly. Flour hangs in the air and is dangerous for Celiac sufferers... there's not a segregated area for our food to be done in. Grilled the FOH and was not satisfied that this would be safe to eat in.

Y’all. If you are in Waikiki - this is your first priority. Hands down, the BEST GF pizza of my life. The staff are knowledgeable and really proud of their GF sourdough - as they should be. It reminds me of mh hometown Detroit style pizza - square, thick crust but fluffy, with a delightful crunchy, chewy bottom. Incredible. Sauce was great, and some classic and creative topping choices. We will be back, anytime we are in Hawaii.
