I am visiting my parents and they rave about this place. So I called ahead to make a reservation and also let them know that I have celiac disease and an egg allergy. She said she put it on our reservation and just to mention it to the waiter when we got there. When we arrived, the hostess seated us and immediately got the chef, who is also the owner. He came to our table and went through the entire menu of what I could and shouldn’t eat. The majority of the menu is gluten free or could be made gluten free. I was so incredibly impressed by the service. My meal was absolutely fantastic. I got the Salmon which comes with cream corn which was out of this world. And then subbed mashed potatoes for brussel sprouts (I’m pregnant. So all the carbs for me.) everything was incredible and I was not sick at all! Highly recommend F.M. Dons. Definitely let your waiter know what’s going on and they will take care of you!
(The menu does not have specifically marked gf items. But the chef said they were going to rework their menu.)

Staff was not knowledgeable. I was told my dish would have a gluten free flag on it. I got the chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies and was asked if I could eat the potatoes. Unfortunately I was extremely sick the next day. Not sure if it was cross contamination or what but it was not good

Chef owned restaurant. No GF menu but server was very knowledgeable about GF and preparation. I had the Beef Bourguignon which was tender, flavorful, and nicely presented. Food and service was top notch. Highly recommended.

Went for Sunday Brunch, there were not a lot of gluten free options on the menu, only about 2-3. The menu is not clearly marked gluten free you need to ask your waiter/waitress. The waitress told me the quiche was gluten free, so I asked "is it crustless or is the crust gluten free?" She said "oh I forgot about the crust." Glad I asked. But they are very accommodating and were willing to make me something else if I didn't find something. I had the Chicken Pillard and it was very good!
Very knowledgeable about allergies. Very accommodating. I have a very restrictive diet and I'm a vegetarian. I had their black bean soup and the arugula salad. It was delicious. Soup had vegetables not just beans and was slightly spicy.
