POOR experience. Just went for dessert and asked for GF twice and they still served me a plate which had a piece of gluten pastry on it. The waitress reassured me it was GF so i tried some and instantly knew it wasnt. I strongly complained!!

Had a great visit the first two times, but the third visit was terrible.
- I was served contaminated food after being told I had celiac disease. This was pointed out in the presentation (one of the items in the dish had gone in a contaminated deep fryer — we’re weren’t told this when we ordered in spite of questioning) but I was told to just “eat around it” even though it was mixed in with the sauce. That’s not how it works!
- Lots of mixed messages and strange communication around the safety of the food. Was told something was safe then when we ordered it again that it wasn’t.
- The dessert was served on a wooden cutting board. We asked if gluten had ever been on the board and they said yes — by definition, this means it isn’t safe because it can get into the grain of the wood. Again was just told to “eat around it”
I didn’t get sick so I won’t give them one star, but these not meet standards for what constitutes a celiac safe restaurant anywhere else in the world.
The service was also very bumpy. Waiter had to be reminded multiple times to bring the wine we ordered when we first sat down (it took over an hour to arrive). When I was served unsafe food, no alternative or replacement was offered and we were still charged for the dishes. Again this is not acceptable for service standards.
I understand serving a celiac customer can be challenging, but they’ve done much MUCH better in the past. I can only conclude their standards have slipped. I no longer feel safe dining here and won’t be back.

This place is excellent. Tons of gf options on the menu, and knowledgable about cross-contamination. They also accommodated my dairy allergy, and were very patient with me asking a million questions about the ingredients in each dish. The food was awesome - I had the sea bass skewers and black squid ink paella and both were beyond delicious!
