Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free and dairy free. The staff was very helpful at letting us know this.

I LOVE this place!! It’s the only ALL-GF restaurant in Jax that I know of - literally EVERYTHING is GF. I liked this place before my diagnosis and when I realized it was all GF when I first found out about my allergy I felt like I could cry from happiness. So good, highly recommend. Cute little hipster spot. Definitely get the Samosas!

They have a NIMA sensor for their customers' peace of mind. It's in- house use only and it's COMPLIMENTARY!.!!!complimentsry
Ate here again last night for probably the 10th time. Absolutely love it! They will not source any ingredients for their food if they cannot assert it is 100% gluten free. We have tried ALL the curries, and none have disappointed. The autumn roll appetizer is one of my favorites. The fried jackfruit is also a treat and unique.

As a gluten-free vegan, I was so excited to hear that there was a restaurant that had multiple vegan options. However, I was sorely disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. The food was incredibly salty. After eating half of the curry fries I started to feel my pulse beating in my head. I do not nor have I ever had any blood pressure issues, so this was very concerning. I took two bites of my curry entrée and it was so salty and flavorless that it didn’t matter how much rice I put in it I still could not take how salty the curry sauce was. I then got it to go box and decided to take it home and add more rice, take out half the sauce and see if that would make it edible. It was still too salty even after adding coconut milk. I would be very aware of the salt content, especially if you have issues with blood pressure or simply like the authentic flavor of well seasoned food.

We ate dinner here on our drive through. I have Celiacs and had the Lion City Lili and my partner has the Vindaloo. They were both excellent. Stephanie was at the counter and took out order. She was extremely nice and helpful!

Loved this place! Knowing I could order nearly anything on the menu was such a joy! Small but cozy seating area. Great place for a casual lunch. I wish they would open a second location near the beach!

Not only is this place safe but the food is also AMAZING! Completely gluten free restaurant.

They definitely have an interesting menu and flavor combinations. I had the Canada Tomato Butter Curry over Fries. Flavor was interesting in a good way but too much oil for my personal taste. Chicken texture reminded me of meat left in a crock pot for way too long. The waitress was very nice and super helpful!! The samosas were delicious, especially with the date chutney. Definitely worth another visit when we’re in the area! If it wasn’t for the chicken and oil, I would’ve given it 5 stars but don’t let that stop you, we all have individual tastes. And not to forget: it is Dedicated GF

I was driving from South Carolina down into Florida and happened upon this (after meticulous research, of course) and I got the Veggie Samosas and the Vindaloo Curry. My mom tried the butter curry over fries. We both got chicken in our dish. This is where we went wrong! The samosas were amazing (the date chutney is so good) and the taste of the vindaloo was good however the texture and taste of the chicken itself was horrendous. My mom had the same bad texture. Personally, I didn’t like the butter curry when I tried it; I liked the vindaloo without the chicken and I really liked the samosas (not a fan of the kimchi paste that comes on the side) overall it was good. The girl working the counter was very nice!

Imagine a world where you go to a restaurant and are able to eat off of all your friends plates without a care in the world and every bite is absolute deliciousness and you’re all smiling and laughing and you don’t get sick and you feel luxuriously full, but not bloated after. Great portions. Great flavors. Great price.

Decent spot for GF food from various interesting parts of the world. The owner puts a lot of thought and effort into recipes and doesn’t cut corners or cost on the authenticity of ingredients. Flavors are strong, there’s no holding back here, no subtle tones or suggestions of this or that in the food- it’s a full mouth of a dominant taste of that particular dish. Wide selection, everything is great, all billed as GF, and haven’t had issues with a reaction. The sauces are similarly strong, powerful. Good to have Foo around.

We come here every time we are in the area. The food is delicious and it’s such a relief that the kitchen is safe. It helps that there’s lots of vegetarian options there too, as my celiac child also has a sensitivity to meat.

Stopped in today on our way from St Augustine to Savannah. Spoke to the staff about safely ordering for celiac (a few reviews here saying they’re no longer 100% dedicated). Was assured they are indeed fully GF and there would be no issues at all.
We ordered the Chicken vindaloo, it was spicy and rich and super flavorful (again, another review saying food was bland couldn’t be further from the truth).
We also tried the rice-a-rollies, crispy shrimp and veggie samosa. All were good. Veggie samosa were different than what I expected but still nice.
Great food, quickly prepared (10 mins), will definitely be back when passing through!

As far as I know, the only gluten free restaurant in Jacksonville. Delicious food from a few different cultures, generous portions. I went with people who eat gluten and they agreed it was fantastic. Additionally, most of the food is vegan by default (though you can add meat if desired).

The place was gluten free but the food was not good at all! Overuse of black pepper. They have gluten free soy sauce and the service was good. We took a detour to go to this place on our way to Florida but not worth it at all!

I had the crispy shrimp French fries and the lime curry. It was all amazing. And I plugged out and had no reaction . None. Yippee! I will definitely be back. Unfortunately I live 3.5 hrs away. But everytime I am in Jacksonville I will be eating here.

Foo Dog was such a lovely place. They’re entirely GF, and the owner takes a lot of pride in their food. Everything was delicious.

The entire restaurant is gluten free (as of 10/30/2021), and the fryer is therefore dedicated gluten free as well. The green curry was amazing, and the fried shrimp in it was delicious! This is a great spot to make everyone happy, regardless of dietary needs/allergy. Each meal starts out as vegan (and gluten free), and then you can add meat if you choose, or tofu, vegan popcorn “chicken,” or extra vegetables. I several dishes from this restaurant and did not get sick. They also had a gluten free desert, a banana fried inside a churro, with chocolate dip, which was just ok.

Everything is gluten free. The crispy shrimp, popcorn chicken and crispy cod are all great. The curry is delicious with optional spiciness. I’m very sensitive and had no reaction.

I’ve had two dishes here with no reaction. They will add extra veggies instead of jasmine rice. I’m sensitive to white rice so this is a great accommodation. They are knowledgeable of the ingredients they use and confidently say they are completely gluten free.

Update: I don’t think this place is entirely GF anymore.
We ordered take-out from Foo Dog last night and it was so good. And the luxury of being able to choose WHATEVER YOU WANT from an entirely gluten-free menu almost brought tears to my eyes. We got the chicken laksa, cod with green curry and samosas. I'm anxious to eat everything else there.

My first experience with curry… and it was amazing! Knowing that the whole place is safe was a huge bonus, and everything we tried was delicious! We tried a little bit of everything… the kimchee was SUPER spicy, but good. The veggies were great, and my kids really liked the rice-a-rollie’s.

Updated: foo dog now has some specials which may contain gluten (ramen noodles). They have everything clearly listed inside and take steps to prevent cross contamination. Many vegan options. Still a delicious meal. Just wish is was 100% gf still. I would come again as we had another delicious meal today.
Super delicious curry!!!
I highly recommend the autumn spring rolls with the vegan chicken and jalapeño mayo. Also, the crispy fish with green curry. Excellent selection of sodas, juices, etc.
Perfect place to dine if you are a celiac, as the entire kitchen is gluten free. I only wish there were some close to home in Ohio! If I’m back in the Jacksonville area I will definitely return.
In fact we are planning our second trip to foo dogs today as we head north.

Bless My Celiac Soul! We're Safe! Everything on their menu is GF! I was so blown away that I forgot to provide pictures of our food. There were 6 of us with me as the only celiac. Each of us had a different dish and we all shared bites. Everyone loved it! (Even our picky eaters and our teenage boys!) We unanimously agreed upon a soon and certain return. Here's how dedicated they are to their celiac customers: they provide an in-house NIMA sensor for their Celiac customers' peace of mind. And...It's FREE to use! You should definitely give this place a try!!!

This place was really good but they are no longer a dedicated facility.
I love this restaurant! It is safe for celiacs and I love the delicious food! I highly recommend!

Great food. GF facility. Vegan on almost everything. Lots of unique flavors. We had three items and wouldn’t hesitate to have them again but will try other items because I’m sure they are great too.
