What a cute stop on our road trip. This is a little shop that serves lunch on some days as well. We ate here and really enjoyed the food. It is super-healthy, very veggie-centric, and not many options, or kid-friendly choices. But if you are a health-conscious adult who likes nutritious food, you will really enjoy. We did! Beware that a few of the items they sell in their shop do contain gluten, but I’d say probably 95% of what I saw was GF.

Our “go to” place when visiting back home. My daughter and I are always faced with fending for ourselves while visiting family. FHT never disappoints . It’s a dedicated gluten free facility with desserts, hot lunches and frozen to go dinners. They also have several grocery items to buy. Owner and staff are always friendly and accommodating.

If you’re in the area, EAT HERE! I’m a Celiac, and it was so nice to be able to order anything on the menu. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is perfect! They also have prepared meals in fridges and freezers you can take home. I’m taking some with me!

So excited to find this place and desperately wish we had one near me in Florida! It's such a frustrating thing to find safe food while on vacation and this was an amazing find on our way through Louisiana.

This is such an amazing GF, healthy resource to have in this community! They have daily lunch specials and a warm, comfortable dining area. Today I had chicken pot pie and a generous garden salad with house-made ranch dressing, sunflower seeds, and grated beet (I think?- first time having that and it was wonderful!) 100% gluten free location, so cross contamination concerns are at an absolute minimum! Comforting, flavorful, safe!! I will try to figure out how to load a picture...

Had the Friday specials Beef Ramen in brown rice and Chicken Enchilada. Both were phenomenal. Cannot believe the enchilada was dairy free, my wife and son loved its creamy texture.

The mother and daughter running the place were very friendly. The mom cannot have gluten or dairy.

Wow!! This is not only a great place if you are Celiac or Gluten Free or Dairy Free but if you just want healthier options (she can help with any dietary need). Dana (owner/chef) is amazingly talented and so friendly. She uses fresh, local ingredients and you would never know they are GF and/or DF. Bought two of the prepared meals and they were both exceptionally flavorful & nicely portioned. She carriers many grocery items and if you buy other specialty items, somewhere else, ask Dana, she may be able to order them for you. I highly recommend For His Temple!!

Awesome place. She goes above and beyond. Great for both gluten and dairy. We are traveling through and when we get back to this area will go again. Hopefully by then they will have the dining area and expanded menu. But it worked great.

What a fun stop. It's a quite a drive from the freeway but definitely worth it if you want to experience the culture. The lady was very nice and helpful. We got to order the special of the day, which was jambalaya. They have other refrigerated meals that you can have heated up. You have to take it to go but there are a few benches outside if you want to eat there. The food was pretty good, maybe just a little bland. Very safe though.

Whole, clean, real food prepared from scratch daily. Excellent hot lunches during weekdays or pick up something from the freezer to warm up for dinner at home. Either way, it's excellent food and safe for those with gluten issues. Yum!!
