We were really excited for this chuck wagon dinner and show. We also paid for the Buffalo hunt ride. Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. The best part about this is the show/music. It was great!! The food however wasn’t awesome. It was bland and you have to choose between chicken or beef. They offer a potato, beans and applesauce. They no longer offer any alternatives for the gluten items (biscuit & dessert). This was really disappointing for us, especially our kids. We had to get our kids second dinner after the show because they were still hungry. You can’t get more food at this chick wagon dinner. They put it all away within minutes of serving. They pack you in to picnic tables like sardines. They had two rows of empty picnic tables not being used which was confusing why they crammed us all together in only a few tables. The Buffalo hunt ride broke so we didn’t get to ride it. Also we came early to explore the fort and we shouldn’t have bothered because it was really unsafe for kids. It’s probably cool for adults but trying to keep our kids safe for 90 minutes before they would open the doors was a mistake for us.

In addition to an awesome show, most of their food is gluten free and very tasty. They have amazing gf biscuits and dessert as substitutes.
Yes
We went to the Chuckwagon show for the first time. I called in advance to let them know one in our party was gluten free. They gave me a ticket so when I went through the line - the places with the biscuit and cake had separate options for me. They were under their carts, wrapped in plastic wrap to keep from contamination. They told me those items came from a local bakery. It was very impressive to be able to take part in the whole experience without being singled out. No reaction at all!
