This place was a breath of fresh air! All sandwiches can be made GF and salads have GF options. The staff was knowledgeable and so helpful! Highly recommend!

I only came here for dessert, I had the gf pecan ball. It was so delicious and did not get sick! I'd love to go back and try the rest of their food, they had gluten free items marked on the menu.

Wonderful gf lunch! Had a delicious half sandwich on gf bread with bag of kettle chips, cup of potato soup and fresh fruit cup. No reaction! Server double-checked with the kitchen to make sure the soup was gf. He was very familiar with celiac needs. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful view atop Mackinac Island on a nice day while visiting the fort. Tea Room closes at 3 pm.

I had the beef on a gf bun. It was delicious. The bun fell apart though. I'm not sure if my server knew what I was saying about celiac disease, so I don't know how much of a chance I was taking. I did enjoy my sandwich, chips and fruit cup. The view was beautiful.

Appreciate that they have GF bread but sandwich was served without tidying or heating and bread was DRY and fell apart. Had a very nice fruit cup and bag of kettle chips…just wish bread could have been toasted. Beautiful views…

Had a smoked chicken and coleslaw sandwich on GF bread. GF bread wasn’t on the menu I had to ask about it. It was great. Not confident in waiter though. Felt like one of the safer places to go since grand hotel runs it. (Need to buy admission to fort)

My family member is an executive at the grand, and did extensive research for me before my trip with all of the Grand’s chefs. They are VERY cautious for gf people!!

All gf items are marked on the menu, but You can make any sandwhich gluten free with gf bread that is actually GOOD. My family thought it was better than their gluten bread! I had the ham and Swiss on gf bread with the tomato basil soup and it was *chefs kiss* The wait staff is VERY educated on what is and isn’t gluten free, there’s even a gf dessert!!

Great view from the outdoor seating! GF items marked on the menu. Not a lot of options, but I heard they can also do sandwiches on gf bread. I had a salad, which was very good.
