Updating my review:
I have loved FOJ for more than a decade, so when I was diagnosed with celiac disease 2 years ago, I was relieved that I could still cobble together a meal at my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, my experiences have been horribly inconsistent— staff doesn't seem to agree on what's gluten free, the gluten free bun was replaced with a less-than-edible cauliflower sponge and their new gluten free menu markers are performative as there's no dedicated fryer. Recently, I found pasta in my fruit cup. It wasn't the first time this has happened, and luckily— this time—I noticed the pasta coil before eating the cup. When I pointed it out to the waiter and tried to explain that even small amounts of cross contamination can make someone with a gluten allergy horribly sick for days, he handled it with little grace. I think it's time to bow out here— a sad realization because it would be easy for FOJ to properly accommodate this dietary restriction.

Back a few years later. Happy they offer gf bread, maybe buns not sure. Turkey chili soup special was gf, also ordered Turkey wrap but on gf bread. You do need to confirm ingredients with server. Not terribly knowledgeable but did ask about the candied bacon (no… soy sauce) and checked sufficiently for my comfort level. Nice menu, upscale menu as far as healthy ingredients just navigate individual items. Now called FOJ?

Rebranded: Foj, An Eatery. Gluten free sandwich and salad options. Gluten free buns. Accommodated allergies but staff not super sure about what was safe on menu. Had a nice turkey sandwich.

The potential for cross contamination still exists, but I love going here and getting a sandwich with a gluten free bun and a side salad. The staff seems relatively knowledgeable and I have gone 4 times without getting sick.
