Frank & Lupe's Old Mexico

We waited over 30 mins to be seated only have others sat before us that had walked in after us, after we sat we saw they were "family" to the restaurant. That isn't good service. We walked to the patio part and it took a while for the bar tender to tell us where to sit, didn't take us there just directed us to a corner seating area. We sat there for 15 mins without a menu, finally we get menus not from the server but from a busboy or bartender. We finally get to order and received our order. My husbands food looked gross. The beans were dried out, they are supposed to be frijoles a la charra! They looked like whole beans just sitting under a lamp all day. So gross and his shrimp enchiladas were lacking as well. My food was soggy, the lettuce, pico de gallo was soggy an old. The tortilla all soggy and a mess. All I enjoyed was the music but I could enjoy that at home with my own awesome good tasting home cooked meal. I was out and about in Scottsdale and thought, why not? Well I wish I not!!! I am Hispanic like them yet they treated the other races better than us. Never again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What a waste of money and the kicker??? They tried to charge me for 2 drinks when I only had one. Never going again, not honest people.
