The restaurant staff was knowledgeable about their precautions including a separate fryer for French fries. I got a burger and fries with no reaction :) not a ton of options but one of the better spots so far on my trip

After reading reviews, we decided this was a great option for my celiac daughter. She had her first ever burger and fries at a restaurant (3 years post diagnoses.) She was SO happy and our experience was wonderful! The waitress was totally on top of her “celiac girl.” I never felt like I had to push the safety or question more than “separate frier and grill situation questions.” Meal went great, no reaction and happy bellies!! We will 100% go there again.

THE best burger I've ever had. The pimento cheese and caramelized onion combination was amazing. I forget the name of the burger. Dedicated fryer. Delicious fries.. Friendly knowledgeable staff. It was a beautiful restaurant on the greens. Felt very country clubish. You do have to pay 9 dollars to get in Sea Pines if you aren't staying there, but you can also check out Harbor Town and get some ice cream or a drink. Will definitely return next time.

Had the brisket with fries. Had told the server (bartender as we were at a high top in the bar area) that it was a gf order but still came out with corn bread on the plate; so couldn’t eat some of the brisket and fries that were touched.

Beautiful restaurant at a lovely golf course, but I didn’t think there was an abundance of GF options. The server wasn’t sure about some things but did check. The wings are GF because they are smoked. They are not fried. All but one of the sauces are GF. Didn’t choose these because last time I had smoked wings (at a place in Hershey PA) they were very spicy and I could barely eat them. Went with a burger and fries. Burger (very good) was served on GF bread. The bread was nothing to write home about and immediately fell apart when I picked it up. I just ate the burger. Dedicated fryer and the fries were good. There are other GF options but they were the usual. I just didn’t have the same experience as others. I had more enjoyable meals at other restaurants on HHI.

One of the best experiences I had in Hilton Head. They have a dedicated fryer for the chicken wings which are delicious and understand Celiac well. I had the salmon and it was great. No reaction.

I enjoyed the brisket chilli and nachos here. Someone came out to speak with me concerning being Celiac. The waitress also informed me that the restaurants in Sea Pines are trained to deal with allergies. The food was delicious and we were able to sit outside which was wonderful. I definitely plan on returning on our next trip to HHI.

Staff was very knowledgeable. I had their BBQ platter. Their pulled pork was good but ribs were tough. We got there close to closing time so I’m sure we got the last of what they had. No separate fryer if wanting something fried.

Very limited gluten free menu and even fewer if you are also dairy free. Server seemed very unsure of what items were safe. After she several trips back to the kitchen to ask what menus items could be made gf/dc, she finally brought out the manager. Food was good but not outstanding. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful view. Very slow service even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Love this restaurant they take your allergies very serious!! ! The menu is clearly marked as to what is GF . The staff is trained in what gluten is and that it is serious if you have celiac. The servers know what can be made gluten free and are aware of cross contamination! I love the staff there they make you feel very comfortable and I never feel I have to explain myself or feel like the server is annoyed by my request. They have a large selection of gluten options on the menu . The server will tell you exactly what you can and can’t have. The view is beautiful, food is great and service is excellent! Highly recommend anyone with celiac or gluten sensitivity go to this Restaurant. Nice to go out to eat and feel comfortable and enjoy the meal and not worry! It’s rare that I feel confident but I do here. I have been to Fraser’s at least 10x over the past year and have never gotten sick !!!!! Highly recommend!

This was a wow me GF meal. The entire staff is knowledgable and the chef comes to the table to speak with you. He makes almost everything in house so he knows what is in it and can tell you about it. Amazing flavor. We will probably eat here twice this week and we never do that while on vacation.

We enjoyed a really wonderful dinner at Fraser’s Tavern. The food, atmosphere, and service were terrific; we enjoyed scallops, ribs, and the smoked meat platter along with appetizers and dessert. Upon making a reservation we were asked about food allergies (one of us is gluten-free), and immediately upon being seated the chef came to our table to better understand the food allergy and to tell us how he and the kitchen staff would prepare the food to accommodate the allergy. It is really rare to find this kind of service and personal attention. There were also many GF options on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The chef makes his own gluten free pizza dough, and it's excellent! Chef Richard comes to the table before you order and explains his allergy protocols. My daughter ordered a hamburger with a gf bun. There was a mistake in the kitchen, and a regular bun was used instead. The chef came out, explained the mistake, and said he was making a new burger for her. Will definitely go there again!

Amazing!! The chef came out to talk to us about his procedures to ensure our meal was safe (three people in my family are celiac) and almost everything on the menu could be made GF. The pizza was the best we've ever had and the hamburger bun was so soft that we thought it was a regular bun (it wasn't). The only problem was that our server didn't mention that my meal was also GF but the chef noticed, and instead of just switching the buns he made a new burger for me. Definitely celiac friendly!!

Unbelievable is all I can say! Chef Richard is amazing. I have celiac as well as being allergic to dairy and soy. My food was delicious and my husband and son's were as well. My husband who's a rib snob said they were the best he's ever had. Going back before the week is done. Our server Jael was awesome too.
