Great staff and awareness of Celiac disease. If waterer is not sure, they check to make sure that food is gluten free.
Fresca is delicious and celiac-safe (1 visit). I savored passion fruit ceviche and gluten-free dessert beautifully presented with a flower. I was passing through San Francisco as a hungry solo diner, and the staff treated me with the utmost hospitality and kindness, even as I asked cautious celiac questions. Then after dinner (major faux pas, IMHO) I opened my laptop and ordered dessert to work on a deadline for the last 30 min until closing-time because I’d just discovered my battery was dying. No one batted an eye, and my server supported me 100%. This was a weeknight in July of 2019, and I am still dreaming of my next visit to Fresca!

Great food. Not a lot of gluten free options, but all good ones. Staff were very accommodating about taking ingredient questions to the kitchen.

Food marked as GF on menu is fried in shared frier.
A few gluten free items. However their Jalea is fried in a shared fryer. Double check with your server.

Eaten here twice with no issues. The menu has GF markers next to about 50% of the items! However, it's important to let them know you need GF, since some items are naturally so and others involve a different preparation method. Finally, we were warned than the fries are fried in shared oil by the server (they were not marked GF and I asked why). I have no reaction to this type of CC, but I know is a deal breaker for most celiacs and was happy to have been consulted.
