The food is phenomenal and safe! I’ve been going here for years and have always loved the food and local art. Unfortunately the owner has become more and more odd over the years (ex: looking at women in ways that make them feel excessively uncomfortable and then following us outside and continuing to stare at our bodies intently). During the height of COVID they wore masks and cut holes in them at the mouth and nose to ‘fight the system.’ I have a hard time trusting them after that. They also had loud conversations with customers (while other are waiting for food or to order) that come across as supportive of racism (“did you know the schools are teaching kids that being white is bad?!”). Overall they have great food but not the type of folks I want to support.
