We got to have a mix of Friedman’s menu and Chinese food. Potstickers, schnitzel, fried chicken, Kung Pao! All delicious.

This is my favorite Friedmans in the city. They are great for celiacs. Just had the BLAT with a cup of tomato soup.

The tomato soup was a amazing and I look forward to trying it with the grilled cheese in the future.

The gf bread is good texture and nicely toasted. Overall great meal with the gf herb fries.

Had great appetizers and drinks during happy hour. Gluten free Mac n cheese was mediocre but the chicken wings and yucca fries were amazing. The food didn’t come with markers but we double checked before we started eating and it was all gluten free. I’d definitely come back when I’m in this part of town.

Almost everything on their menu can be made gluten-free and dishes are served with a gluten free flag. They have locations all over the city but this specific location shares space with a Chinese restaurant that also has lots of GF options!

One of the best gluten free experiences I have had with my daughter (celiac) at a restaurant. It’s so nice and comforting to know that we can all share food and enjoy enjoy during a meal outside the home. EVERYTHING can be made gluten free and tastes amazing, the staff is utterly knowledgeable and caring. We’re here at least twice a month.

NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY! I’ve been glutened more time than I care to note, and never left a bad restaurant review. But this is the first time I’ve been glutened at a restaurant that says “gluten-free pioneers” as it’s tagline. It’ll take me weeks to get back to normal. This was definitely way worse than a cross contamination issue. I have not been this sick in years!

— Poor

I order from here at least once a week (for many, many months) and have never gotten sick. This location is one of the better ones. It’s never too crowded. Very good management, friendly staff. If you want a salad get the Cobb. Appetizer? Sandwich? Fried chicken, pastrami, or turkey club. Burger? Stick with ground beef. Entree? Meatloaf if they have it. Fish tacos aren’t exactly authentic but they’re good. Brick chicken is hit or miss. The cheesecake and apple pie are bangin’. Breakfast? Nova Benny and pancakes. Chicken and waffle is good, too. Great latkes. They always have a special everyday and it’s almost always unique and delicious so be sure to look out for that or ask about it.
