FRÍO Gelato - Evanston

Very yummy. The gelatos are gluten free, just have to be mindful of cones or if they add in a topping that has gluten. My partner has celiac - as soon as she said this, they offered to get her a cup of any flavor scooped out of a brand new tub in the back (with a clean spoon) to avoid any possible cross contamination with the cones. My partner had no issues whatsoever. The shop is focused on making allergy safe gelato, so there is an overarching sense of care and consideration with regard to dietary needs. Highly recommend!
