Specifically asked two girls at the counter if they had a gf toaster. They both said yes. I replied that’s surprising because most places use the same toaster. Then I notice my bread is in the shared toaster. Been waiting over a week for Sal to refund my money. Now he’s dodging me. Won’t eat here again.

Update: when inquiring about gluten free the girl stated we don’t do that anymore even though they have signage everywhere stating they do. While they have gluten free granola, they cannot promise no cross contamination. We are done going there.
In the past they made our bowls in the back to make sure there was no cross contamination. Today when they called us to pick up I just wanted to confirm they were gluten free and made in back. That was when she informed me that they no longer do allergy friendly bowls, but they do use gluten free granola. It would have been nice to know that before we ordered. So far we are not sick, but don’t think we are going back if they can’t protect from cross contamination.
The staff gave me regular granola after I explained I needed gluten free granola due to my allergy -celiac disease. They did not make it in the allergy section I assume and the manager after i called was ignorant. Stay away

They have great smoothie bowls here, with add ons such as gluten free granola. They are great with substitutions and you can even create your own if you'd like. They offer dairy free and soy free options as well. Highly recommend!

Wonderful! They have Açaí Bowls and they have gluten free granola. They use separate spot to make your food.

This is the safest place in Tuscaloosa to eat if you have celiac in my opinion. If you tell them you have an allergy they will make your bowl separately in the back. The only thing that wasn’t at all safe were their toast options. They also accept bama cash which is AWESOME.
