Review of Fujiyama

Have had 2 great experiences here. The servers are knowledgeable and kind. The menu is not marked with what is gluten free. They do bring gluten free soy sauce to the table that is labeled. Here is some guidelines:

-the salad dressing is not gluten free. You can get a salad no dressing. -the traditional onion soup that comes with the dinner is not gluten free because of the fried onions, you can ask for a substitute of miso soup. -They can make the hibachi dinner and fried rice gluten free by using the gluten free soy sauce. I have eaten in the bar both times therefore it's been prepared on a grill in the back. Before my diagnosis I ate at the family style grill with a friend who was celiac and her food was prepared in the back, on the "allergy grill" while everyone else's was prepared in front of us.

- Edamame is gluten free

-i asked if they could make a California roll gluten free, they said their imitation crab is not gluten free, therefore they could do it, but for an upcharge to real lobster. So the rice and other ingredients are safe.
