Review of Gala Thai

I walked into this place craving Thai Food and from looking online they seemed like their menu had a nice selection of yummy options, but as soon as I walked in and the server talked to me I asked if they have gluten free options. They immediately admitted to me that all there sauces are prebought at the Thai place and are not Gluten Free (soy /wheat base). This is such a shame. For it being in NoHo Arts District and seeming to be a higher end Thai place, you would think they would make their sauces from scratch or at least provide Gluten Free options. Sadly I had to leave, but went to Vegan Earth a few doors down. Vegan Earth had all Gluten Free, dairy free items that were surprisingly good. So if you have gluten allergies don't bother going to this Thai place. Hopefully in the near future they will be more accommodating to folks with food allergies. Until then AVOID!
