Excellent food. Made me a gf cheese enchilada. Sauce was great.

— Excellent

Staff was knowledgeable and was able to accommodate most entrees. Lower rating for not offering easy modifications. It’s a shared fryer for example so their chips were not safe. It would not take much to have some gluten free chips pre baked or even store bought just ready to go. Margs we’re good.

David was awesome — so accommodating to my severe celiac. he assured my my meal would be cooked on a separate surface. he was so polite and sweet. will definitely come here again. just let them know you have a gluten allergy and they will take care of you!

I really enjoyed the food here. I am really sensitive to gluten (celiac) and was worried coming on vacation. Garcia’s made it easy to eat. Our waiter helped me find what I wanted and then made sure I got it gluten free. The service was prompt and amazing. Same with the food. The chips are fried in oil with other things so I could not eat them, but they were corn.

We have come to Garcias for many years before our daughter was diagnosed as celiac. We came back yesterday to find that everything on their menu is GF except the red enchilada sauce and flour tortillas! Our daughter had enchiladas (corn tortillas, without the sauce) and a side of rice and she felt great! So glad to have one of our favorite local Carlsbad restaurants back on the list!
