Garden Center Cafe and Grill

The menu and food at this beautiful restaurant are very good. The servers however, are reluctant to answer questions about gluten free ingredients and methods of preparation. They present with a simple answer of “yes” or “no” but the responses appear unconvincing. In my experiences there I have to suggest to the server to check with the chef and/or check the ingredient labels of premade products. On my most recent trip there I ordered a simple patty melt with no bun. It arrived complete with a bun.

Gluten free options are limited, but owner/staff understand gluten free handling and were able to modify chicken dish to be gluten free however in doing this, the food became a plain chicken breast devoid of much flavor.
