I went Friday night with a friend and her co-worker. We didn’t have a reservation but only waited 30 minutes. Our server was Charles and he was fantastic! I asked about the tortilla chips for the guacamole and were told they were only made with corn . The manager came out to tell me they were made in a shared fryer but that hasn’t affected me yet…. I did not have a reaction from anything I ate. I ordered the half chicken entree and it was one of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time ! I also asked about the vodka in Greta’s punch and was told it was Nee Amsterdam brand. A Google search showed it was safe. All in all I would recommend and would definitely go back !

Do not eat here if celiac.
The few items marked on the menu are all at strong risk of cross contamination. They mark fried food as gluten free even though it's fried in a shared fryer.

Very poor experience- DO NOT trust the items marked GF on menu, almost all of the GF listed items are wrong. Terrible server. Skip it if you are GF, there are much better options in DC

Shakshuka was delicious, just onion topping had to be removed. Waiter said he talked to chef.

If you’ve got a mild gluten intolerance I’m sure this place is lovely. If you have celiac don’t even bother. Unless you’re desperate. I went with a friend for brunch before a soccer game. I saw the disclaimer about how they can’t guarantee anything is gluten free at the bottom of the menu and went uh-oh. But I was out of options, it was early, my friend was here and I, like a fool, picked this place out. My waiter was awesome. She took down a bunch of options for me because she wasn’t sure what the kitchen would be able to handle at celiac level of gluten free (so many things fried in contaminated oil, so many). I credit her with my not getting sick, she was really nice and diligent about it and I tipped her probably about the cost of my meal. Which was easy to do because my meal ended up being scrambled eggs and a side of fruit. It was fine. I needed something to eat before spending the afternoon at a soccer game and I got it. Highlight of the whole thing was the mimosa which was expensive but delicious. If you’re just after cocktails, you’ll have a great time here.
