Gelina’s Ice Cream

I have been going to Gelina’s since I was just a little kid and long before my celiac diagnosis. During the warmer months, this is a great place to stop for delicious soft serve ice cream. The gluten free options are marked on the menu, and while they don’t have gluten free cones, I always enjoy their ice cream in a cup. The portion sizes are quite good and the prices are very reasonable. Since the staff are mostly younger kids working summer jobs, I have been accidentally served a gluten-filled cone once before, and when I reminded them I ordered a cup they simply put the cone into a cup. Unfortunately, I had to hold up the line a bit longer explaining that I couldn’t eat that particular ice cream as it had now been cross contaminated. However, that has only happened one time and I’m always very hyper vigilant when ordering since then.

Ordered cotton candy soft serve- delicious! All soft serve flavors are gluten free and labeled on menu! So many different flavors to choose from. Ordered in a cup and had plenty of toppings to add. Facility encourages customers to tell them about any food allergies.
