Regular Food 4+, Gluten Free 1+, Service 2+. The family and I went for dinner last Sunday. It took forever for the waiter to come over. They brought out regular bread and a butternut squash spread, so I watched as everyone seemed to enjoy it. No gluten free bread available. Next they ran out of several gluten free items and the waiter was not sure about content for many dishes. The waiter forgot requests like extra bread, and additional soda. Finally my dish arrived. The pasta was so-so, and the marinara was bland. My family did enjoy their meals and they would definitely eat it again. I can't justify coming back to a place where I can't get a lousy gluten free roll and where I received lackluster service. My stomach was upset that night with a heaviness, like the food just did not want to digest. Their gluten free foods may be ok for those just avoiding gluten by choice, but if it is a necessity, I do not recommend eating there. Restaurants need to realize that the celiac in the family usually makes the decision on where to eat. Maybe then they will pay more attention to the needs of the gluten free diner, many of whom are not gluten free by mere choice.
