Review of Gilardi's Ristorante

*Warning: Your gluten-free pasta may in fact not be gluten-free AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

I was so excited to try this restaurant! Finally a nice Italian place with gluten-free pasta. Now I would love to tell you what I thought of their g-free pasta, but I still have yet to try it... THEY BROUGHT ME SOMEONE ELSE'S PASTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The restaurant mixed up plates & I was served regular full-gluten pasta. Now, I called back to let them know what had happened. Even though there is nothing they can do to help me at this point, they could at least avoid this in the future! Not once did the manager apologize for the mistake!! No "I'm sorry this happened," "What a terrible mistake!" ... just a "What's your name? I'll make sure there's a gift certificate for you to get free pasta next time." NEXT TIME?!!!!?!?!?! You're kidding, right??! After trusting you to give me food that you assure isn't even cooked in the same water as gluten, you served me an entire plate of pasta that was ALL gluten!!!!! I can assure you, there won't be a next time.
