Ginger Japanese Restaurant

Called for takeout and explained my daughter had celiac and couldn’t have gluten and wheat. They seemed to semi understand and then asked if she could have sesame. Said the only thing was no sauces.

Ordered her sushi and wrote to package it separately. She didn’t get sick!

poorly labeled menu but if you ask the kitchen will tell you what’s safe and what isn’t. pretty decent selection and never once had a problem with anything i’ve eaten here.

My server didn’t even understand questions about which items had gluten. I was left to completely guess. There was only one other table with guests that Monday night so it wasn’t because they were busy.

I did not feel they had enough options. Pretty much just the fried rice is gf. It was pretty good but for 5 stars they really would have to be more knowledgeable and have more than one entree.

I am thrilled to find gluten free fried rice!! Just request the gf soy sauce. Beyond that the staff is knowledgeable and kind to check ingredients for gluten etc. The sushi is fresh and fantastic! They have nice atmosphere and parking in back. They also seem to have regulars, which I may consider becoming.
