Glacier Ice Cream

The best ice cream in NoCo by far! My gluten allergy is highly sensitive & I did fine with no adverse affect on the GF selection I had - dark chocolate sea salt caramel. Highly recommend!!

Despite previous reviews, this place is NOT Celiac safe. They have ice cream labeled gluten free, but the two guys behind the counter told me they dip the scoopers between the GF and non GF buckets all the time. They offered to get a “clean” scoop…one that is sitting in the standard place with all the other scoopers “but has water running on it all the time”. I asked whether they could use a fresh bucket from the back but was told the ice cream would be too frozen and impossible to scoop. They said I shouldn’t trust the pre-made pints in their freezer either. The guy said, “yeah, better to be safe than sorry”. Back to Walrus ice cream for me where they take Celiac serious and offer way better customer service. Btw, I had to rate the taste, which I put as high, because everyone who was with me that had the ice cream loved it, but none of them are Celiac. So, good ice cream, just not Celiac safe.

They were super helpful picking out ice cream for everyone. Gluten free was clearly marked, all ingredients were listed on the wall, and each allergen was color coded right on the ice cream case! They even had gluten free cones for the kids!! Fantastic place!!

The owners have kids with celiac disease and other good allergies. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable! It's become our favorite ice cream shop for sure! The ice cream is super creamy and nearly all the flavors are gluten free and they have gluten free cones!!!
